'My husband and i decided on a last minute getaway to go bluebonnet hunting and were so blessed to find and book this lovely cottage. We were able to bring our dog Gigi which made the stay even better. Judy, the owner, could not have been nicer. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The lake was low, but that made for some amazing bluebonnets beds. I highly recommend this cozy spot in the hill country.'

'The owners were absolutely great. It was really cool that the castle is part of their family. The castle was very clean and organized. We were able to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday in a very epic way. Our friends and family were blown away. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone.'

'Beth and Paul were great hosts in every respect. We stayed in the small "honeymoon cottage" on their property. Their home is also on the property and is on the highest point on the west side of Lake Buchanan. We were invited to use any of the features - huge deck, pickleball court, etc. etc. We were there really just to see the eclipse and they joined us on the deck and we all had a great time. We'd happily visit again.'

'Amazing location, close to State Parks and numerous trails. Outstanding hosts! The property itself is perfect to retreat and enjoy all nature has to offer while having comforts at hand. The camper was the cutest and the area around it invites to relax. The bathhouse is equipped with more than essentials, snacks, water, coffee, toiletries, towels, and washer/dryer available. And…it’s dog friendly!!! Truly exceptional. Will definitely return!'

'This was such an amazing experience. We had a very warm greeting and given a little tour around. Loved all the little details and the amenities were amazing as well. Very clean and spacious. We stayed in the Cowgirl. It was so cute. They had everything that we needed. Even items for smores!! Next time we’ll invite more friends to rent as well. 'Recommend basic maintenance be done as there were unpatched nail holes, board above dishwasher poorly done, cracks in drywall, kitchen fan ceiling ring hanging and dishwasher didn’t work until we called maintenance and one bathtub had no stopper-it was missing, shower light didn’t work and exhaust fan light continually flickering.
