Nice little place!
I used to live on 28th street for 10 years so I know the area well and wanted to be close to the River mouth. It's a nice house and great location for Del Mar and close to Solana Beach. The towel rack was coming off of the wall but I fixed it with a proper drywall anchor so it's good to go for years. 3 bedrooms would be nice but the extra bed in the master worked out fine. Easy walk to the beach and that's what we wanted.

Golf Getaway
We were a group of 4 traveling to the area on a golf trip and anniversary celebration. The property was perfect for us. We found it clean and tidy, and also was well stocked. The communication with the manager before, during, and after the stay was always timely and clear. We definitely would stay again in the future.

Family time
Great location! Walk to beach, walk to Jakes on the beach. Beautiful! Pros: Nicely stocked with items to cook with, nice patio to hang out, comfortable downstairs and comfortable beds. Cons: no air downstairs so may be uncomfortable in the summer, only two towels for bedroom 2 and three for bedroom 1. Both rooms had two people for 5 nights. Bedroom 1 is spacious, very nice. Bedroom 2 is small. No closet, hung up clothes in the utility closet and in the garage downstairs. Facial tissues only in the downstairs bathroom and none in the rooms. Managed to work around the cons and would stay there again.

We offer everything you need at the Vitamin Sea! It is truly a home away from home. This 2-bedroom home has a spacious living room with a fireplace, garage filled with beach supplies, outside patio with firepit and outdoor shower, and more! We are happy to hear Roxana had a 5-tar stay with her family!

Perfect
A perfect place for this family of four to spend our vacation. The beach chairs and boogie boards were used more than expected and greatly appreciated. The backyard oasis provided a perfect setting for us to spend time around the fire pit.

Condo review.
Great location. We had electric bikes so not being able to use the garage was an inconvenience. Living room furniture could be more comfortable for watching TV. Refrigerator has a loud vibrating noice. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms are a good size.

Absolutely incredible trip to Del Mar, the house was better than described and SO clean. The 3 minute walk to the beach was the best for us & the dog. The house was extremely comfortable and felt like home shortly after arriving. By far my best vacation rental experience and we will make this an annual trip moving forward. Fantastic beach access
Great location & beach access, no huge cliffs to have to climb stairs. Not overly crowded at the beach. Great amenities in the house. We arrived late at night with the wrong code. Had to call a couple of numbers to get someone to give us the right code. A/C wasn’t working, third day up and running. King bed in primary with a double bed. We put our kids in the primary room & took the second room with a full size bed. Full size bed was fine but it needs to be replaced. It moves with you & makes lots of noises. Probably a bad spring. Just replace the mattress! Outdoor patio was great but the floor needs to be power washed, badly. Otherwise if your barefoot, the bottoms of your feet end up black. Also, the upstairs patio lock needs to be checked. My son & I got locked out. Beautifully landscape. Well stocked. We kept windows open (mainly because there was no a/c for a few days) but neighborhood was quiet and loved that we could keep them open. Train didn’t bother us. Fireplace in the living room was nice. We enjoyed our stay there!

Lovely Spot to Enjoy all Del Mar has to Offer!
We enjoyed our stay at the Vitamin Sea very much. The unit is updated and very comfortable. Perfect for a couple. The very best thing in my opinion is the location! Just a short walk to the beautiful Del Mar beach. My list of suggested improvements is short - living area furniture (couch and chairs) should be cleaned at the least or replaced at best; provide a second set of sheets for beds to make changing convenient; internet service drops periodically and speed not be adequate for remote work situations. We look forward to our next visit to Del Mar!

This was a amazing beach house with location next to nothing, only 1 block from the beach! Our family enjoyed the house and did not want to leave. Great experience and will definitely be back for a longer period.

Beautifully styled home with an Idyllic location!
We loved our stay! We have traveled to Del Mar for many years to enjoy a week of R & R with our kids but this was the first time we stayed in this home. We are so happy we ventured to try another rental for our stay because this home was perfect. Nice furnishings, clean, beautiful updates to the property, nice backyard space if needed. We could not park our SUV in the garage due to limited space on the side walls of Garage but we didn't mind. Our kids are still within age ranges that sharing a room or bed is not a problem so it worked out beautifully for our family of 5. Thank you for having us and we look forward to visiting next year!

We had a great 2 weeks in Del Mar. Our expectations were really high based on the pictures of our place. It was a great location, a quick walk to the beach. But the furniture was more tired than we expected - the photos must have been taken in the first year.

Absolutely wonderful!
We loved every aspect of our one week stay in this home. It was definitely one of those "yes - this is awesome" moments when we first opened the front door. I look forward to the chance to stay here again. A few particular things worth mentioning: Location - The location is phenomenal. It is a short 1.5 block walk to the beach, but being set back from Camino Del Mar means that there is little traffic noise. We heard the train, but it was really pretty subtle and did not bother us at all. Style - The house is super appealing inside and out. Nice furniture, furnishings and lighting. Lots of natural light from windows in the unit. Amenities - This house is stocked with everything one could need. Comfy blankets for hanging on the sofa; outdoor fireplace and shower; real washer and dryer; dishes, cooking utensils etc.; outdoor sporting goods such as paddleboards, beach chairs, boogie boards etc. This place literally has everything to make your stay comfortable. Communication - The management company was proactive in communications. I particularly appreciated the approach to early check in and late check out. They are automatically provided and communicated if available. Slight negatives. 1. The queen bed in the second bedroom isn't particularly comfortable. Our kids complained about it being bouncy and I agree. Maybe this could be replaced? 2. It's a little awkward to have the daybed in the master. 3. The shower in the second bathroom was kind of hard to turn on and off -- my kids ended up showering in the master. 4. There's a strange smell that's particularly noticeable upstairs. We kept the windows open. None of these things should dissuade anyone from staying at the house. All in all, a 5-star experience.

Once again- perfect home for us!
This is the second year renting this home and it was perfect once again. It's clean, the beds are comfortable and spacious for our family. The outdoor patio with table and fire pit were enjoyed each evening and the outdoor shower helped a ton when getting back from the beach with little ones. Hoping to come back for years to come!

Superb Location
Though we had a cool and rainy four days, we enjoyed thoroughly the house's configuration and location. The main living area was great for family dinners. The house was close to the beach for walking, close to town and a short drive to Torrey Pines golf. The only critique (and it is minor) is that the mattresses need to be replaced. They are worn out and for people with back issues, a good night's sleep is not assured. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Great getaway
Our family of five stayed in this cozy condominium over Christmas and had a lovely time. The living area is very comfortable and the gas fireplace was especially loved by all. The location is fantastic, two blocks from the beach and a short walk to town. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Fantastic location-- quick walk to the beach!
Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed at the beach condo over a gorgeous, sunny autumn weekend. The place is unbelievably well-stocked: hotel-like soaps and shampoos and lotions. The kitchen had all the right pots and pans, the salt and pepper I always forget to bring, and plenty of wine glasses. And (most importantly for my kids) there were new boogie boards! (Also stand-up paddle boards, beach towels, balls, etc). Honestly, it was the best supplied VRBO I've stayed in. We walked to the beach (3 mins?) for sunsets, heck we walked ALONG the beach to dinner in the village (about a mile). The location cannot be beat!!! The house looks like it was recently renovated and feels very modern and sleek. It was quite clean-- pretty unusual for a beach house! It has two massive tv screens and a million channels thanks to DirectTV (we are tv-free at home so this was a real treat for my kids) but the weather was so lovely we didn't spend too much time indoors. We will certainly be returning. This is a wonderful place in a wonderful little beach community.

Great property and location!
My family really enjoyed staying here. It is very close to the beach and an easy walk. The home was clean and comfortable. Great little neighborhood. Parking was adequate. The home was also very well stocked. Things like sunscreen and bandages that one might forget to bring and then unexpectedly need. It made us feel very welcome.

Amazing House Close to the Beach
This beach townhome was perfect for my family and I. We traveled with my parents and because there are two master bedrooms upstairs it gave us all enough space to get ready in the morning. The main master was perfect since it had a full size bed as well as a California king bed because of my 2 year old son. The amount of games, towels and beach supplies made it so we wouldn't even need to bring our own in the future. We enjoyed using the outdoor gas firepit for cool nights as well. Everything in this town home was perfect and it really is as nice as it looks in the photos. We home to come back soon!

The Perfect Choice
The owners of this renovated condo paid special attention to design, furnishings, and amenities that provide a sense of wellbeing from the moment you enter the property. The beautiful open kitchen ,dining and living areas were perfect for our birthday dinner party. The house was very clean and well stocked with nice towels ,soaps,beach gear and games, and there was ample parking. We loved sitting around the fire pit at night visiting with our family, and enjoying the weather. In short, the property was exactly as described. There are hundreds of good restaurants around, and if you cook at home, Seaside Market in Cardiff is a must!

Wonderful stay close to the beach!
We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving break stay at the townhouse! While we were in town for a tournament and did not spend that much time at the property - we found it very clean and nicely appointed. The beach chairs/towels, boogie boards, bag of beach toys, outdoor shower etc. were so nice to have vs. purchase. And the location just a block off the beach was ideal. The train noise during the day was not an issue but if you are a light sleeper in the front bedroom, use the fan to help block the occasional freight train passing. With most of Del Mar near the tracks - the quality of the townhouse and location near the beach more than made up for this. The owner was easy to work with and very flexible with the arrival and departure timing. We will use again when back in the area. Thank you!!
