Felt very unprofessional. Broken elevator, lights in the room not working, no warm water. Also, sound from outside made the whole room and building vibrate, it's insane how noisy the room was. Staff was playing loud music in the hall. They have a "travel desk" where they try to sell overpriced stuff. Bedsheets smelled like the brown stuff, made a complaint about this and they fixed it but shouldn't be there in the first place. The place felt very shady and needs a major update. Perhaps the place was nice a few years ago but it is not worth staying here now. The environment is classic Paharganj: just very crowded and dirty. I left after two days although I booked four days. Didn't even bother to ask my money back because they would never agree, they care about money, not about guests. This shouldn't be on Expedia to be honest and I hope this makes people aware. Look at their reviews, most of them are AI generated.

Hotel heeft een goede ligging als je in de buurten van Sadar Bazar of Chandni Chowk wilt blijven. Het ligt ook niet ver van Connaught Place. Er staan altijd wel rickshaws of tuktuks voor de deur. Op loopafstand vind je ook een McDonalds en aan de overkant van het hotel is er een Domino's Pizza. De roomservice van het hotel was zeker ook niet slecht (ook goed qua prijs) als je Indiaas bestelt. Als er iets mis is in de kamer en je meldt het bij de receptie, wordt er niks gedaan ook al zeggen ze dat ernaar gekeken wordt. Beter bellen naar housekeeping, dan wordt er wel direct wat gedaan. Toch zeker een aanrader qua prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Prima voor een drie sterren hotel
Het hotel zag er prima uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen een moderne, westerse uitstraling. Het personeel is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. De locatie is ook top. Het ontbijt is ook prima, niet heel uitgebreid maar zeker genoeg keuze. Lekker dicht bij het centraal station en Old Delhi. Gelegen aan een hoofdweg met veel verkeer en transport (tuc tucs). De kamers zijn prima, her en der een klein beetje versleten maar je mag ook niet veel meer verwachten aangezien het een 3 sterren hotel is. In de basement staat een grote weegschaal, superhandig voor het wegen van je bagage. Het restaurant is zeker aan te bevelen. Vaak 's avonds laat nog gegeten en de prijzen zijn echt zeer acceptabel, eigenlijk heel goedkoop zelfs. Schoonmaken van de vloer in de kamers mag beter, hier moet je extra naar vragen anders "vergeten" ze het nog wel eens. Daarnaast hadden ze 3 dagen lang problemen met de boiler waardoor we geen warm water hadden. Heb met koud water moeten douchen!

De ontvangst bij aankomst is heel goed. Je krijgt een drankje terwijl ze je inchecken. De portier ziet je al van ver aankomen en houdt altijd de deur open. Ontbijt is goed en de buurt is wel oke. Een beetje druk maar met een tuktuk makkelijk te doen. Al met al een goed en schoon hotel voor Indiase begrippen en zeker voor deze prijs.

Prima hotel op loopafstand van New Delhi railway station en Conaugt place. Ruime comfortabele kamers met alle beloofde voorzieningen. Goed werkende wi-fi op een dag na. Gevarieerd ontbijt en tijdens ons tweede verblijf genoten van een nieuwe investering van het hotel: een nieuw koffiezet apparaat om zelf je espresso, cappuccino e.d. te maken. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Een minpuntje: bij het diner alleen bier of water verkrijgbaar.

The hotel was definitely not worth the price I paid, it probably rates more as a 1 or 2 star hotel at best. You wouldn’t wanna pay more than $5-10 a night for this hotel. The photos are highly deceptive and are misrepresentative of the actual condition. I initially received a room that smelled like cigarettes and the AC wasn’t working so they promptly switched me to a different one. Unfortunately within an hour the AC stopped working and the room was filled with the smell of cigarettes again. They took some time to switch me to a different room in which the AC finally worked. The staff were very kind and accommodating at the time, however not very efficient as it took almost an hour to get a new room. In seeing the 3 different rooms however, I noticed all of them had very old amenities, some chipped/broken. There were stains on the floor and furniture. The linens smelled like bleach and a low quality detergent. Apart from the staff on my first day, the rest of the staff seemed rude and very inefficient. I asked for a bottle of water on my second day and they didn’t send it until I reminded them an hour later. On the final day they called and rudely asked me to checkout merely 5 min after the checkout time of 12PM. Then at checkout they charged me for the bottles of water (which I was entitled for free bottles per my Platinum/VIP access thru Expedia). I would not recommend it to anyone. You would much rather spend a bit more in a better hotel in a better area of the city.

I can’t say enough good about this property. Everything, from the room to the complementary breakfast was just perfect. The staff was also attentive and kind. The only regret that I have that I didn’t Hotel City Star much sooner.

I arrived at the hotel around midnight and the area looked a little sketchy. The checked in process was ok, because i prepaid online. I was asked to fill out information in a book that seemed odd. I loved the hotel architecture and rooftop breakfast area. The staff was nice, especially the host during breakfast. The room was average.I was given a room that had a smoke smell and was told a non smoking room was not available. The bathroom could use an update and the hotel could use a refresher as well. Overall, the stay was good.

ニューデリー駅徒歩10分くらいのホテルです。スタッフの対応は素晴らしいと思いました。お湯も出ます。部屋は綺麗ですが、シーツが少しカビ臭い気はしました。朝食は無料でついているはずでしたが、うまく予約できていなかったのか、追加料金を払う必要があったので、食べませんでした。チェックアウト後の荷物預かりも無料で対応してもらえます。The三つ星ホテルといったところでしょうか。

Delhi is Delhi, busy, chaotic, but the Hotel is a safe haven and clean. Location is central, hotel-taxi is great, on walking distance from Old Delhi (2 kilometer), During day-time is the street rather safe, but be beware of traffic, better to hire a tuck-tuck or taxi.

When we arrived at the hotel we had made the booking in, we were told there were no rooms and sent us to another hotel in the back alley. It was distressing that we had no control over what to do as it was already late in the night and we had traveled all day. The second hotel that we were forced to stay in -- the rooms were not very clean and the sheets were *×'^...and when we made some comments about it, they said they they will clean the room again...within 2 mins they said the room was cleaned...when we entered the room, we were breathless because they had sprayed ao much heavy smelly room freshner that we had to stand outside the room for 20 mins with fan on dull blast to air out the room. Never had such a distressing experience before with reservations with hotels.com, i will be more cautious booking with this website the next time!
