First we had got there and had multiple issues with the toilet. Had to flush it repeatedly for it to actually go down. We had a couple guests we hadn’t seen in awhile coming to stay with us and they also had a baby. it was extremely hot in the room. Even when we turned the ac to 60 degrees it didn’t work at all. At check out when we went to talk to them they said people had been asking for fans and we could’ve asked but We paid 200$ for the hotel and didn’t know we’d even have to ask for a fan and thought the air would work. Our guests couldn’t even stand to stay in our room and they ended up leaving the next day 6-7am and we also packed and decided to leave shortly after. When packing up we checked under the bed for anything to make sure we didn’t leave anything and we found a dip chew pouch and a marijuana vape which like I stated we had a baby with us who is crawling luckily he didn’t find that. Another thing the pool was full at almost all times and was very dirty and had cold water but the pool room was extremely hot as well. Overall not a good experience my guests and I left way earlier then we expected to and wished. I wish the experience was better. I would like to be compensated or my money back.

I can not say enough about this staff as well as the property. We came in town for my daughters gymnastics meet. That happened to be the same day of my sons 3rd birthday. We booked with a different property that had a water park, to our dismay the water park was shut down. I called the Sheraton and told them of the situation. They went over the top for us. What seemed to be a disappointing weekend, turned into a wonderful stay. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable hotel with above and beyond service. This is your place !!!!! - thank you again to the Staff ❤️

When we checked in and arrived to our room, it had not been cleaned. There was a beer box stuffed with trash, dirty towels, and the bedding hadn't been changed. The friendly front desk worker did provide us with free breakfast buffet vouchers and sent someone up with clean towels and bedding. Also, there was a fundraiser event going on and we could hear the music and feel the bass in our room until 11pm. The breakfast was good and the pool/workout area was nice.

Great Property for a variety of usages and Visually taking... I truly enjoyed my stay, I was just in shock upon check in to find very long hairs embedded in my sheets. I understand laundry and went thru and picked out all the long hairs that probably came from a housekeeper or previous usage. Otherwise great room, but wasn't paying an extra $6 to use wifi, when most offer it for free. I tried to use the local bar for a drink, but when there are "events" being held, was a Tiny Bar for such a demand of people also wanting drinks, Could use a Larger bar to attract more "staying" customers than those visiting from an event. Great Property overall.

Our stay started off bumpy but was quickly handles and management made it right! Was given a different room with NO issues and free breakfast for the hassle of moving rooms due to cleanliness of the room.

The only issue is when parents & coaches permit middle schooers to run through properties acting wild and rude. A policemen onsite was surprising as was a visit from private security tram at 11pm. The team reported a complaint of "noise" reported coming fronm my room. Which is surprising as I was reading at the time....

West Des Moines is the area of town to stay when visiting Des Moines. PSA, dont click on the $5.99/day internet - I did, it didn't work, so I tried again, still didn't work, so I gave up and accessed the internet on my phone hotspot. Was still charged $5.99, twice for the same day, for internet I couldn't and didn't access.

Book room with two double beds. Was given room with one bed. Drain fully plugged. Tub filled with water. They brought in a snake and augered the drain at 9 PM. Refrigerator unplugged. Room definitely not wirth the 228.00 I paid.
