'My girlfriends and I plan weekend getaways a few times a year. We all live within one hour of Elkin and enjoy being out in nature. There are so many things to do in the area from hiking, kayaking, wine hopping and more. Three Trails was a perfect spot within walking distance to shops and restaurants. 'We had a very nice stay in this artist studio. Awesome views of the river! And you can see Pilot Mountain from the side windows. We enjoyed relaxing out on the deck and even opening the glass garage door 'wall' on the one warm and dry afternoon of our stay. 'We enjoyed our stay at Three Trails. They had everything we needed. The bedrooms are on the lower floor. The exposed brick, smooth floors and open piping really leant well to the industrial feel but it was warm and inviting.
