Sometimes we just need to get away, this cute cottage was the perfect place to forget about our jobs and responsibilities that everyday life brings! The cottage was well stocked with amenities, we didn’t have to go to the grocery store for anything! Snacks were provided! Enjoyed feeding the deer, with the corn the owners provided for us. 'A little four night getaway for me and my wife. This little cabin is perfect for a couple. We were very comfortable during our stay. Only about three miles to Main St. so you can get to all of the shopping, dining and other activities n just a few minutes, but the location of the cabin gives a rural feeling. Nice, quiet location! 'We loved the house and were in a great location. The only downfall was the ants falling from the ceiling in the living room. At first we thought it was just a freak thing when there was one on my husbands shirt while we were watching a movie. We kept finding a fine dust powder on the coffee table and couch and we knew it wasn’t crumbs because we didn’t eat in there. We had a friend over to visit and 3 ants fell on the table and we looked up and they were all on the ceiling going in and out of...

'Cannot say enough good things about this adorable little farmhouse. It was more than my friend and I could have hoped for our girls weekend. So clean, with every little detail thought of…even a loaf of banana bread waiting for us when we arrived. Will recommend to everyone headed to the Texas Hill Country and will definitely be back!'

'This is our third time to stay at the Ainsley House and the location is fantastic. Over the years and multiple stays, the house has become slightly run down and needs some TLC. Overall the bed is clean and comfortable and everything downtown is easily walkable which is why we would stay here again.'

'Both nights that we stayed, we were welcomed with ants that were either dead and or alive. We did our best to remove them from the bed. While sleeping I was bit not once but twice. I did inform the management company and they were graciously giving on changing all the linens. As we were out and about we had our guest pop up again. We had sleepless nights not knowing if we were going to get bitten again and have them crawl on us while we were sleeping.'
