'This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place.'

'This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for...

'The home was very close to rafting, atv, bridge walk and zip lining. It was nice to be able to cross the bridge to walk to restaurants. We had 5 people and it was perfect for us. Kitchen was nicely stocked, note there were no paper products in the kitchen. House was clean and welcome bag was a nice touch! Thanks for a great base for our trip.'

'Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!'

'We had a family trip to NRG and needed a bigger place to stay than a bunch of hotel rooms. This cabin was almost the perfect size (the dining table could have been bigger, only seats 4). Lights flickered during a storm but never went out, but we did lose wifi. Wish we'd planned a longer stay to really take advantage of all the amenities. We'll definitely keep it in mind if we plan another trip!'

'We booked a suite rm for 5 of us. all family, all adults. In town from out of state for a funeral. Front desk service was great. The room was plenty spacious. Good comfortable beds. Sitting room and bedroom areas had tv's that was a plus! This room could use a new sleeper sofa, the mattress was a little worn. The walls in the bathroom needed a good washing and a new coat of paint. The floors needed to have been swept better. As far as breakfast, it was pretty good for those of us that got up...
