Ondanks dat het hotel niet centraal gelegen is, waren de hotspots goed bereikbaar. Ook was het een prettige buurt met velen kleine restaurants and winkeltjes en zelfs een grote shopping mall in de buurt. Het personeel was aardig en behulpzaam, vooral Ramish Rumbia de schoonmaker en Effan de restaurant medewerker. Onze kamer en badmaker waren schoon en ruim. De minpunten waren het feit dat de wifi bereik op de kamers er slecht was. In de gang en in de lobby was deze wel goed maar daarvoor moest je een bonnetje halen bij de receptie die slechts een uur geldig was. Verder maakte de airco veel lawaai en was er ook een vervelend geluid van een mogelijke generator. De kamers waren absoluut niet geluids dicht, je kon een naald horen vallen in de gang! Het zwembad was toe aan renovatie. Er was een shuttle service naar de "Deira citymall' die op loopafstand was. Het was beter om deze service te beiden naar bijvoorbeeld een strand in de buurt of de Dubai mall. Je krijgt precies waarvoor je betaalt, deze accomatie was niet heel prijzig. Al en met al zouden wij deze hotel wel aanraden voor een kort verblijf.

De kamers waren vrij goed, personeel uitstekend!! De badkamer was al veel minder, oud en versleten sproeiers enz... Ze hebben ons verhuisd van 3de verdieping naar 7de, gevolg we lagen op de gang waar masseuses zaten, de hele nacht veel lawaai!! Nog maar te zwijgen over het zwembad, vreselijk, 5 ligstoelen die allemaal kapot waren, de kussen die er op lagen waren juist rozeblaadjes zo dun, na een half uur had je gewoon pijn van het liggen. De rest wat stoelen die hetzelfde waren, kapot en met kussens zonder vulling!! De bijzettafeltjes vielen uit mekaar!!! Dan heb je nog de paraplu's 2 stuks en je kon ze niet opendoen want ze vielen uit mekaar en die met een temperatuur van 41 graden, echt geen aanrader!! Hoop dat jullie daar notitie van nemen en zeker rekening mee houden voor mensen die naar daar gaan! Was voor ons de vierde keer maar echt niet goed in dit hotel!!!

Praktisch liggend
De ligging van het hotel was super praktisch. Je kon vanaf dit plek overal naartoe makkelijk de taxi of metro pakken. Ook was de hotel netjes. Alleen hadden wij veel problemen met onze (sleutel)pas. Wij zijn hierdoor overgeplaatst naar een kamer wat niet voldeed aan onze boeking. Na paar keer hameren zijn wij weer overgeplaatst. Jammer dat de service op dat moment belabberd was. Al met al wel een goed hotel om te verblijven. Ook de buurt is goed om te vertoeven. Het is niet te duur om iedere dag buiten te eten daar. Ongeveer net als in Nederland.

Pros: You have amenities and good shops nearby. Really near the airport (terminal 3) This property seems to be like a 3 star hotel and not a 4 star as things are quite old and some parts are dirty. The staff are strict and doesn’t understand much English. For example we asked if they had a freezer and they sent us a fridge. They wouldn’t allow us to use their microwave so we had to throw away a lot of food. It was an okay stay and did the job but it’s not like other 4 star hotels e.g Ibis styles, Pearl Swiss hotel etc

Hôtel très sale, matelas : vous dormirez sur des ressorts. Linge taché de sang. Rideaux cassés et noir de pollution sûrement… Petit déjeuner : pas de couvert pas, pas de cereales, pas de jus d orange juste des plats indiens Moquette tres tres tres sale ( taches miettes et cheveux..) Sale de bain: délabrée et taches de rouille dans évier et le lavabo. Dans le hall: une grande porte cache une espece de boite avec des filless ….

Only the area around is good for shopping, walking, easy transportation and several restaurants. But the hotel Aravi it self is a disaster. I had a paid reservation and arrived at 12:00pm after an overnight trip, they refused to check me in, they said no available rooms right now, you have to come after 2:00pm so I asked the front desk ok no problem but I may come 8:00pm since I have several meetings, they said you can come any time since your booking is paid. So I came at 8:30pm they said to me we canceled your booking and we have the right to do so since we are in a high season but no worries we can put you in the first floor right up to the night club so you can imagine the noise up to 3:00am. I refused to take the room and insisted on them to recover my booking and told them I'm going to report a complaint against the hotel, so the the magic happened and they gave me another room in the 6th floor. And something else you have to be aware of it that the hotel have a parking under the property but even you are a guest but they will charge you 30 ADE/day for parking your car there. It was a bad experience I don't advise anyone to book there

My personal review of Aravi
Checked in on 4th Feb. Arrived at about 8am and had requested for early check-in but the gentleman on the reception desk at the time didn’t even care to listen. so had to wait at the lounge till 2pm. when it was time to check, i didn’t know the procedures and then gentleman rudely asked me to drop my passport and wait at the lounge. there was a queue but what is disappointing is that i saw people who came in later than me get checked in before i was! I eventually checked in at about 3.20pm. The room was okay but the beddings weren’t freshly cleaned. there were traces of hair on the pillow covers. i let housekeeping know but they didn’t change them until the next day. I had booked for 4 nights, and had determined not to extend my stay, but thanks to Rolack, Roda and Jeslin- they were extremely nice to me and somehow found myself extending my stay for an extra 5 days! all else went fine but the cleanliness in the room needs to be improved. the carpet is never cleaned, the beddings weren’t changed for days even on request, one of the cleaners removed the pillow slips and was using it to clean the surfaces, and sink. cleanliness of the utensils needs to be watched, etc. other than the cleanliness amd check- in experience all else was good amd would still recommend it especially for the sake of 3 people i already mentioned up there

Très décevant
Mal organisé, la chambre n’était pas prête à 17h. La chambre sentait la moisissure. Très bruyant à cause d’un bar au 1 ère étage. Les cafards étaient présents dans la chambre et le salle de bain. C’est un hôtel deux étoiles et pas 4 comme indiqué.

Hotel dégoutant. La chambre est sale et sent mauvais (cheveux et saletés incrustées partout sur la moquette, dans la bouilloire, sur le matériel ...). La moquette est d'une puanteur nauséabonde. La climatisation propage une odeur poussièreuse. La chambre n'était pas prête à l'arrivée (1/2 heure d'attente). La literie est de piètre qualité. Ne correspond aucunement au standing d'un 4 étoiles. L'hotel est très mal entretenu. Quel manque de professionnalisme... Une seule envie : quitter cet endroit désagréable.

Avoid, at all cost.
The hotel is under new management. It was previously Avari. It was a reasonable hotel. Now, the management has been changed recently and the name has been changed to Aravi. It is now run down, bathroom drainage is clogged, cleanliness is terrible and the lobby is noisy with shady people attending the two night clubs all the time. Terrible experience.

When we arrived at night after 7 hours flight we were shocked that you had cancelled the booking!! Without us knowing about it!! How could you cancel the booking while keeping the payment we made ? They agreed to give us a room with two single beds while we paid for double/king bed while investigating the problem The second day 29/3 we were told they got their money from you and gave us a double beds room Second we arrived on Monday the 28/03 while we paid for dates starting the 25/3 so where there is the refund for the unused three nights?
