Authentiek hotel
Moo, klein, hotel in authentieke stijl. Dicht bij oude, gezellige, gedeelte van Dubai. Vlakbij museum en Paleis van his Highness. Slecht te vinden door taxi's! Laat taxi naar hotel Arabian Court rijden, hoort bij Orient Guesthouse, is vlakbij.

Geweldig!
Ten eerste verwacht je op die plek eigenlijk geen guesthouse, je zit midden in een "toeristische" actractie. Als je de deur binnenkomt stap je direct in een sfeervolle courtyard waaromheen de kamers gesitueerd zijn. In de courtyard wordt ook het ontbijt (in buffetvorm) genuttigd. Doordat de open bovenkant met een soort zonnescherm is afgedekt is het prima toeven. De kamers zijn echt heel mooi koloniaal ingericht, echt heel sfeervol. Wat ook heel fijn is, is dat je gebruik mag maken van het zwembad van een 4 sterrenhotel vlakbij. Wij hebben hier gebruik van gemaakt en dat loopt prima, je krijgt ook mooie badlakens aangereikt. Volgens de LP zouden de badkamers hier krap zijn maar bij onze kamer was dat in ieder geval niet het geval. Oke, een minpuntje dan, er is geen douche dus je doucht in het bad waar het douchegordijn te dicht om hen zit en dus constant aan je lijf plakt. Verder helemaal top!!

Orient Guest House: nice traditional guesthouse in old Dubai
Close, eas walking distance, from all major sites in both Bur Dubai and Deira. Still, the Bastakiya neighbourhood is very quiet, making this guest house a good choice to stay in. No pool or other luxuries are available, but anything you need is available for free in the Arabian Courtyard hotel, which is close. Great place to stay for a couple of days of leisure in Dubai.

Die Aufenthalt war sehr gut, angenehme Mitarbeiter, der Pool war gut und sauber. Der Hotel liegt in der Mitte der alte Stadt und der Elsouq Elkabeer.

Chic, old-Dubai style guest house - highly recomme
I was so glad that I stumbled on this place and spent two nights here. This is a chic, old-Dubai style guest house that is a stone throw's from Dubai Museum and the Textile souk. It is located in the Al Fahidi Historic District. I had no regrets at all booking the place. Hot showers and working air-conditioning, with a very comfortable bed. THe breakfast was buffet styel and more than sufficient. The price - it was a very good deal - well worth the money. To top it off, the staff were excellent and very accomodating to my requests. My friend and I came in at 5am and they accomodated us in the Majlis (a room for us to rest) and even agreed to change my friend's breakfast to the first day. He entertained my many other queries as well and was so very patient - thank you so much Patric! The lady at the reception (Lorena) was also great and very helpful! The hotel has no gym and pool but you can head over to their parent hotel the Arabian Courtyard Hotel where you can use their facilities free of charge. I would not hesitate to stay at the Orient Guest House again if I return to Dubai and I highly recommend this place to anyone who want to explore a different side of Dubai.

Lovely accommodations and friendly owner
Lovely inn in a beautiful old village. The accommodations were much nicer than expected given how rustic the rest of the town was. The owner was very kind and hospitable, serving coffee and dates upon arrival (a true Omani tradition). Dinner and breakfast were delicious and made my the owner's family next door. We even got a tour of the family home and plantation the following morning. Will definitely stay here again next time we go to Oman!

写真の可愛さと価格で予約しましたが、建物自体とその周辺が観光場所になっている様でこんな所に泊まっていいのかととってもラッキーな気分になりました☆ 朝9時を過ぎると観光客が増えますが少し早起きしてその前に散策すると写真も人が映らず綺麗に撮れました。 従業員の方もいい方ばかりでしたし、過剰なサービスはなく、程よく放っておいてくれたのでちょうどよかったです。 soukも歩いて行けるのでold Dubaiを感じたい方は是非☆

L'emplacement est parfait. Rien à redire là-dessus. La chambre était propre et on sent le soin quand au choix des meubles en bois qui donne tout son aspect exotique. Belle salle de bain aussi. Nous aurions apprécié l'indication "sans fenêtre" dans l'offre au vu qu'il n'y avait qu'une toute petite vitre avec barreau qui ne pouvait pas s'ouvrir. Nous aurions aimé un déjeuner avec des aliments frais et faits maison (trop sont industrialisés). Nous avons été réveillé à 3h du matin par le personnel dressant à cette heure là les tables du déjeuner qui donnaient directement sur notre chambre. Assez fâcheux d'autant plus que j'avais vraiment besoin de repos étant tombée malade. Belle attention de la part de la propriétaire de m'amener gratuitement du thé au miel et citron pour calmer ma toux. Beau lieu et pourtant quelques améliorations à apporter pour qu'il soit vraiment à recommander pour une adéquation prix/qualité.

Reis tilbake i tid og slapp av :-)
Artig lite hotel i hjertet av Dubai :-) ligger i gamlebyen. Bare10 rom. Får en følelse av å reise tilbake i tid, fin takterasse og fantastisk restaurant rundt hjørne ta til venstre og venstre og 1 restaurang.

Escape hyper modern Dubai to enjoy its history
Enjoy a unique historic experience in a hyper modern city. Great place to stay, and convenient location. True, many cab drivers do not know the Orient Guest House, but my airport cab driver just had to call to get specific directions. Google Maps also knows where the hotel is and can be helpful for cab drivers. The guest house is located inside the Al Fahidi Historical District, very close the river. While you can see signage for Orient Guest House from the road, you do have to walk about 75 meters to get into the courtyard of the guest house where you check in. When I departed and knew the area, I just walked an easy 10 minutes to the Al Fahidi Metro station and went to the airport for just AED 8. The taxi from the airport cost me AED 65. When you stay here, you'll know you're in the Arab world - this is definitely not an ordinary, modern, personality-free hotel that exists in any city or country. Room was comfortable with old world Arab furniture, the door was a double wood door with a giant pirate chest looking paddle lock. The breakfast was tasty with some Arabic offerings in addition to the usual scrambled eggs. Very friendly staff.

Perfect for the money
4 years ago I stayed next Hotel and paid triple. No need. Orient Guest House is very good. Clean and quite rooms. I stayed in room 9 and it was very big. Good breakfast. Only the coffee ( They serve instant coffee) wasn't mine. Thanks Lorena and the night personal. He helped a lot. I will stay here again.

Oikein hyvä, voi herätä aamulla lintujen lauluun. Rauhallinen alue ja erittäin siisti. Avulias ja kielitaitoinen henkilökunta. Kumppanuus hotellissa uima-allas ja bubeja missä edulliset oluet happy hourina, 200 metrin päässä hotellista. Metroon alle 1 km. Jos haluaa asua autenttiessa ympäristössä suht edullisesti, hotelli on hyvä valinta.

Kleines Hotel am Creek in Bur Dubai
Ich möchte vorweg nehmen, dass sich meine Bewertung auf das bezieht, was ich gebucht habe, nämlich ein orientalischen, sehr kleines Hotel (10 Zimmer) mitten im alten Teil Dubais. Von einem 5 Sterne Hotel hätte ich natürlich mehr erwartet, aber das habe ich nicht gebucht. Wir waren vom 24.-28.12.2017 im Orient Guest House und haben es dort sehr genossen. Das Hotel ist, wie bereits erwähnt, sehr klein, aber dadurch auch sehr niedlich. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer (6 &7) Eines der beiden war etwas größer mit einem Sofa, von dem aus man in den Innenhof schauen konnte. Im Winter wird dieser auch für das Frühstück genutzt. Das Hotel und die Gegend sehen genau so aus, wie in der Beschreibung und den Fotos aus dem Internet zu entnehmen. Genau das, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Der absolute Kontrast zu der Hypermoderne Down Towns. Wir waren bereits öfter in Dubai und kannten den Stadtteil. Wer eine Unterkunft sucht, um Dubai selbständig zu erkunden, ist hier genau richtig. Leider habe ich vom Hotel keine Fotos gemacht, was mich wirklich sehr ärgert. Aber wir fahren wieder hin und werden das nachholen. Beeindruckt hat uns, dass wir am Abreisetag unser Frühstück um 5:30 am Morgen bekommen haben. Das war richtig toll. Unbedingt Lageplan ausdrucken, damit das Taxi weiß, wo es halten muss, denn das Hotel ist mittendrin :)

古い町並みの中にあるホテルで、とても雰囲気が良かったです。 ホテルスタッフも良い対応をしてくれました。 チェックイン時、booking.comで予約を取った他の人と間違えられてもう一泊分請求されましたが、エクスペディアで予約したと何度も言うと分かってくれました。 スークへのアクセスは良いです。 パームジュメイラやバージカリファへは少し遠いです。 ベッドやバスルームも清潔です。 また泊まりたいです。

Nettes landestypisches Guesthouse
Alles sehr schön.Wenn wenig Gäste im Guesthouse sind gibt es kein Frühstücksbüfett . Nur auf vorgegebenen Bestellzettel ist dann nicht so umpfangreich wie das Büfett. Das hat uns sehr gestöhrt. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage.

Orientalisches Flair in Dubai's Altstadt
Das Guest House ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer sind geräumig auch das Bad. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und im orientalischen Stil gehalten. Man darf das Guest House aber nicht mit einem Hotel vergleichen, es ist eben ein Gästehaus. Dafür hat es aber auch sehr viel Charme. Trotz der Lage an einer stark befahrenen Straße ist es in den Zimmern ruhig. Wenn man sich abends nicht ins Getümmel stürzen möchte, kann man hervorragend auf der Dachterrasse oder im Innenhof sitzen. Das Frühstück ist nicht so umfangreich, wie man es aus Hotels gewohnt ist, aber es ist alles da, um satt zu werden. Es wird appetitlich und sehr hygienisch in Form eines kleinen Buffets angeboten. Informationen durch das Personal sind etwas schwierig zu bekommen, da die Englischkenntnisse der Angestellten etwas zu wünschen übrig lassen. Fazit: Wer es einfach-rustikal dabei aber sauber und geräumig haben möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wer Komfort erwartet, sollte in ein 4 oder 5 Sterne Hotel gehen. Für uns war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung.

familiäre Unterkunft in nettem Ambiente, zentral im historischen Teil der Stadt gelegen, Metro Stationen in Gehdistanz. Zimmer von 2 Innenhöfen begehbar, Frühstück kann im Freien (1. Innenhof) eingenommen werden Zimmer orientalisch eingerichtet, grundsätzlich sauber, einige Zimmer sehr klein und für 2 Personen nicht geeignet (werden aber als 2 Bettzimmer verkauft). Für einige Badezimmer wäre eine Sanierung angebracht.

Charming guest house, full of character.
The Orient Guest House, built round a courtyard in traditional Arabic style, is a peaceful haven in Dubai's old quarter, close to art galleries and museums, and on the edge of a maze of shady, stone-paved streets. It's remote from both the glitz of the high rise hotels and the bustle of Bur Dubai.

パスタキア地区にあり大変雰囲気が良いため、早朝の観光客が少ない時間帯に散歩ができるため良かったです。 食事も種類は多くありませんでしたが、美味しくいただくことができました。 シャワーのお湯がぬるいのが少し残念でしたが、部屋は清潔で快適に過ごすことができました。

Great location in the historic section of Dubai
As my wife and I wanted to visit the older section of Dubai, ahead of taking in the "glitz" of the modern city the hotel was in a wonderful location, close to the Creek and to the Dubai museum - staff are very friendly and accommodating - very comfortable room and we were provided with generously sized breakfasts - we will be back!

small and pleasing but difficult to find initially
in the old part of town, close to the creek and 15 min walk to metro. large and tasty breakfast, accomadating staff. its situated opposite the post office on al fahidi street-good to know as there is no house number on address, and al fahidi st is quite long. lovely room, 4 poster bed, aircon etc. there was a telly in my room, but every 2 minutes the signal would go and u would have to turn it on again. i did ask staff about this, who said they would get it looked at, but that didnt happen, so i had no telly-not a terrible thing, but nice sometimes in the eve.

A great find
This hotel is in a great location for exploring Dubai. It is located in the Al Fahidi historical area - an interesting place containing, amongst other things, some enticing doorways that lead into wonderful art and cultural exhibitions. It is also a very easy walk to the Al Fahido Metro Station, the Dubai museum, local markets and the small ferry boats over the river to the fascinating markets and souks. The hotel was QUIET, well air-conditioned, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. This place is great value for money.

Very good staff, can't low the air conditionary, always same program..book a shuttle for 100AED per person round trip according the hotel condition, the owner wanted to charge for 150AED per person one way, i show him the screen copy, so he accept, there is an another hotel which belongs him, orient arabian, just front of Dubaï muséum, but this hotel is bigger and gets stars, than orient guest house has not..so the prices are différents(room, services...),

Comfortable with great staff!
This hotel was in a great location to walk around some of the historical areas of the city. There were many art galleries and cafe's nearby. Once out on the main road there are many shops and more restaurants available. Taxis are easy to get also. Did not use the bus, but did walk about 1km to the nearest metro station.

Excellente insonorisation à la chambre 1!!! Une maîtresse de maison en or, toujours aux petits soins peu importe nos demandes, très réactive, professionnelle et joviale vraiment BRAVO et MERCI !! Boukchiche le voiturier "génie" est génial! Juste sur le rond point vous trouverez la cafétéria restaurant 2000 qui ne paie pas de mine et qui sert des sandwichs shawarma poulet ou du poulet massala avec du riz DÉLICIEUX pour une bouchée de pain!!! À la station de métro vous trouverez l'enseigne Day To Day qui est un grand bazar ou vous pourrez vous approvisionner notamment en souvenirs pour PAS CHER du tout!!! En bref, excellent rapport qualité prix en toute simplicité alors FONCEZ!!!

Schönes Guesthouse in guter Lage
Tolles Ambiente! Die Zimmer gehen von einem Innenhof ab und bieten alles was benötigt wird. Alles ist sauber und der Service toll. Alle bemühen sich, damit es dem Gast gut geht. Die Lage in der Nähe des Creek und dem Dubai Museum ist gut. Metro und Bushaltestelle sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Für uns ein Haus mit orientalischen Flair und Charakter das sich wohltuend von den "Gesichtslosen Nobelhotels" abhebt.
