Charming boutique property in old Dubai, with wonderful art, including a gallery and unique gift shop. Restaurant in the beautiful courtyard was excellent. A great place to wind up at the end of the day.

This is one of the few properties in Dubai where you can stay right in the middle of the historic district and walk to the textile, spice and gold souks. It is a wonder boutique hotel with unique rooms, great food and delightful, friendly service.

Amazing hotel
Amazing boutique hotel in the middle of historical district of Al Fahidi. We wanted to take a break from the steel and glass high rises and didn’t regret it. The hotel is combined with cafe and art gallery. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in cafe is lovely. All rooms are designed in different traditional style. We had room 10, designed in Turkish tarboosh theme. The location can’t be more perfect to explore old Dubai. We were able to walk to Al Seef. The Al Ghubaiba ferry station and Al Fahidi metro is also nearby, so we could travel to business district and Burj Khalifa by metro and to Marina by ferry and Deira soul by abra. Will be definitely come back!

The place is hard to find. Taxis don't know exactly where it is. You have to walk around the historic site to find it. The rooms are clean. You really have to like rustic looks to appreciate this place. If you want modern amenities, this place is not for you. They had Perrier water and regular water in the fridge..no mention of costs associated for the Perrier..then they charged nearly$15 Canadian for 2 small bottles of Perrier which I found to be totally out of the norm. overall good spot

The setting is unique, the property charmingly renovated, and well decorated. To sit under the large banyon tree in the courtyard enjoying a delicious breakfast was a real treat.

Off the beaten track.
The XVA is a very interesting place. If you choose, know that it is located in a fully pedestrian area, so your taxi cannot take you to them, you will have to be dropped off on the main road and then walk in a little. Not a bad thing, if you know it in advance! The room we got had all we needed and was really clean with working zircon (you need it), however, based on the photos on their page we expected something a little less crammed. That said, our son had a very comfortable armchair-bed, which he loved, and we slept well in our bed. Overall a very good experience, and the neighbourhood was full of flavorous from the Middle East and the East, which we loved.

雰囲気は良し
バスタキヤ歴史地区の中にあり、ホテル周辺の雰囲気はとても良い。しかし部屋は思ったよりも狭く、部屋入り口の前に公共スペースがあったため、子供が騒ぐ声が部屋の中まで聞こえてきてややうるさかった。メトロの最寄り駅までは徒歩15分ほどかかった。

This is a brilliant hotel away from all the tourists ad hussle and bussle of Dubai, it is an oasis’s within the city. The property is a short taxi ride to all major attractions in Dubai, and the taxis are frequently near the property as it is near the Dubai fort and grand Mosque. The staff are brilliant and the meals fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel is you wanted to visit Dubai but did not want to stay in a commercial hotel. By the way great locals art boutiques within walking distance of the hotel.

バールドバイを感じることの出来る素敵な内装で、ゲストハウスをイメージして準備して行きましたが、バスローブやスリッパ、パジャマもあって快適でした。 ただ写真と違ってバスタブはなく、水はけはあまり良くなかったです。 また、運悪く倒された部屋が中庭に面したカフェのキッチンの隣？で、夜遅くまで片付けの音などがしていて落ち着きませんでした。 雰囲気は良かったのですが…。

とても良い滞在でした
年末年始に小学生連れ家族で利用しました。お部屋の中庭にカフェがある造りでしたが、思っていたよりプライバシーは保たれていました。早朝近くのモスクから流れるコーランが結構大きく聞こえます。 朝食も美味しく、総じて大満足です。中庭に猫がいるので、猫アレルギーの方ご注意下さい。

Superb Location, beautiful ambience
The location for me was perfect- in the old quarter away from the concrete jungle. I loved wandering through the area with its twisty turns and surprise artworks. Hotel is beautiful. So peaceful. I had a standard room off the main atrium which serves as a cafe yet was not disturbed at all with any noise. My room had a feature wall of the world map- perfect fit for my personality. Comfortable bed, good linen. Large bathroom well appointed with toiletries. Mini bar and complimentary tea/coffee/ mineral water (for first day stay only). Fruit platter was a nice gesture. Breakfast was included and really good- middle eastern dishes and then with choice of eggs/muselei and tea/coffee with fresh oj. Cafe on site. Good wholesome food (but at a price). Gallery on site is really interesting. My first night rate was good value. The 2nd ticked over into high season and was more than double - not good value but I didn’t want to have to move. If I had to be back in Dubai I’d stay again. It is a beautiful place to stay.
