Upon arrival a was welcomed by Tom, the friendly and attentive owner. Despite being 3 hours too early, an immediate check-in was not an issue. I was personally directed to my room and all the facilities were explained to me. The room wasn't very big, but spacious enough for me on my own. The wooden furniture has a typical style of its own, but it all looks very tidy and clean. The shower works just fine, and I received a fresh set of towels on the second day as well. The bed is pretty comfortable and large enough. The blinds keep out daylight -important point as well. Considering the fact that I was there for an exiting job interview, the home-like atmosphere in the B&B was something that really appealed to me -instead of a business-like hotel that generally doesn't tend to feel like home. My room happened to be on the backside of the house, which may have contributed to my undisturbed nights. Tom was very willing to adapt the breakfast schedule to my wishes, due to my appointment at the airport. Tom offers different sorts of breakfast and there are simply too many tea's to choose from. A bus stop is right in front of the B&B. The bus is very cheap and schedules are easy to understand -also for foreign tourists. One or two small downsides; the flushing of the toilet needs a swift and firm press -otherwise it won't work properly- and the window locking mechanism wasn't of the quality I hoped for.
