'House was as advertised. Was very convenient for getting to all the downtown shops and could have easily walked. The house welcome book and I believe the online description mention this, which were spot on, in that the only downside of this house is backing out of the driveway onto road. It's kind of tricky with the 4-lane road and being on a hill. Other than that, everything was perfect.'

'The bus was awesome! Had everything we needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed, a nice fire pit, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. Lacking ample firewood scavenging. Suggest bring your own firewood. Recommend keeping your dogs away from woods as there were an abundance of brier prickers.'

'Loved this cute little place and so did my teenage children. It’s the perfect getaway for a quiet peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle. I only have one suggestion, maybe look into a couch in the sitting area so a family can hang out together. Other than that we truly loved this place.'

'Our stay at Claytor Lake was quiet, comfortable and fun with beautiful sunsets to end each day (or lead to further enjoyment in the game room!!). 'This is our fourth stay and it is always wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful and the home is immaculate. '

'Stayed for only 1 night on our way home from a work conference, so we didn't do anything around the area. Great place to just sit on the deck and take in the views. Perfect quick stop for a little relaxation before starting the work week. The house was clean and had the basics if you wanted to cook, etc.. Wifi worked well. Bed was comfortable. The only recommendation would be to have an iron/ironing board (unless there was one and I just couldn't find it).'

'This was our first stay in a Yurt and we weren't disappointed. We loved the layout, the way we could stargaze in our bed, and relax in the hot tub. I was looking for a private, mountain getaway and this was recommended. My husband and I were celebrating out 10 year Wedding Anniversary and just wanted to get away. 'My wife and I wanted a nice getaway in the mountains and this was a great place to be. It's very secluded and you're truly one with nature. We took a hike down to the river and it was great. I am sure in the spring it would be a wonderful place to fly fish. If you want a getaway PeaceLodge is for you!'
