When we check-in, front desk lady asked me to sign where you are responsible for your own vehicle even if its parked in their hotel premises. I never seen that anywhere before. There is no elevator and very dirty rooms and corridors.

We have cameras all around the building for security, but we cannot accept liability for what happens to someone's vehicle in an open parking lot which is fairly standard for any business. We will be undergoing renovations soon and will be adding an elevator at that time. If there is ever an issue with the cleanliness of the rooms or hotel we would hope you would immediately bring that to the attention of the front desk so that it can be immediately remedied. We strive to make cleanliness of the rooms a top priority, and rarely have any issues with that.

Staff were friendly, allows pets, beds were clean. People above us were up till 2 am but air conditioner helped to drown out noise. Every 5 minutes toilet would run and cause noise.

The room itself was spacious and the bedding clean. But the building exterior looks decrepit and the front door didn’t seem to lock…safety is not good. And no elevator so we had to carry heavy luggage upstairs. Really lovely front desk staff!

Thank you for your feedback! We will be undergoing renovations soon to update the building and parking lot as well as adding an elevator. Although the side door is open at nighttime to allow guests access in and out of the hotel, every other door is locked and you cannot get into the main part of the hotel without a keycard. We also have cameras all around the building as well as someone at the front desk all night to monitor access to the hotel. Hopefully this addresses your concerns and we look forward to seeing you again.

The front desk ladies were nice but the place was infested with ants in some rooms and they moved us to an upgrade but it was crazy dirty in every way possible and the sinks don’t drain. Because we booked on Expedia they couldn’t give a refund or a discount, not sure if they were just lying but we were pretty much stuck here u less we wanted to double pay. Do not book Expedia for this u less you want to overpay for a very very bad and dirty hotel. Also there is no breakfast, just a few granola bars and fruit cups. Save ur money and go elsewhere. The hallways smelled like puke and needed a sweep, the chairs and carpet was stained, really suspicious individuals around the area lingering outside. I’m just happy we’re not dead.

Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry that you had a negative experience. We would have liked to be able to do more for you, and would have done so if some of these concerns could have been raised with us at the time. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about insects coming into the rooms from outside except for dealing with it as it happens. We do pride ourselves on cleanliness, and wish you would have brought those concerns about the cleanliness of the hotel to our attention at the time so we could have remedied them. We do have a continental breakfast with cold cereal, yogurt, cereal bars, fruit cups, juice, coffee and tea, and if this is not satisfactory, we also are happy to make breakfast recommendations. Finally, when you do book through a third party, we are limited as to what we can do in terms of refunds or discounts. Next time, book directly and we will have more flexibility on what we can do.

Very comfortable beds and a clean room. Housekeeping does a wonderful job with a very dated building. Maintenance staff are definitely lacking. The building and grounds are grungy and unkept. As a place to sleep for 1 night I would return.

Toilet ran all night long. She said she put us on the quiet floor - all we heard all night (until about 4am) was people partying and water flushing or showers or laundry? I don’t know. It was awful. I mean - what do I expect for $111 stay idk - but quiet was one thing I needed and didn’t get. I’d rather have driven back home than stay (2.5 hours away)

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Property was dirty & we felt unsafe. Hallways looked like they had never been cleaned. Room was no better & smelled like stale smoke. The “continental” breakfast was cereal, fruit cups & if you were lucky yogurt. Our sink wouldn’t drain & when my husband told the front desk he just looked at him & said “yeah”. Found out from others that the area is known as the “crack” part of town. Was the worst experience I have ever had & I have travelled extensively & stayed in my fair share of bad places.

Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We do our best to keep things clean here and we will definitely continue to work hard at it. The hallways are definitely cleaned regularly. This hotel is safe. We are not in the "crack" part of town. We have cameras inside and outside, deadbolts on the doors, one entrance into the hotel, and very little foot traffic at night as there are no other businesses open at night or residential areas close by. We are sorry if you did not like the breakfast selection, but it is a continental breakfast, and we are more limited then we would like as we have no kitchen here. Once the restaurant is renovated and reopened, we will be able to provide more options. And for the sink, we would have gladly switched rooms or checked on the sink, but once the problem was reported your husband left before we could offer a solution, and we are not allowed to just go in the room without your permission or your presence. We hope you have better experiences going forward.

The picture you see in the ad is not what you get. We never once in the two nights we were there saw any cleaning staff. The dirt and grime on the hallway tiles were never cleaned. There was rice on the shabby, ripped heavily stained carpets that smelled like wet dog/cigarettes. Being that it was thanksgiving weekend we had no where else to stay. The first night we actually slept fully clothed on top of bed. Next night we bought blankets of our own. Would not recommend there

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the hotel was not up to your expectation. The brand standard for cleaning the rooms during a stay is every three days and you can always request more service at the front desk. We do try to mop the hallway tiles every day, unfortunately we do get a lot of traffic sometimes and they become dirty soon after we clean them. We do try to deep clean the carpets as often as we can, and if you let as know which room you were in, we can immediately address that. We can also guarantee that we change the bed linens after every stay to freshly laundered ones. Please remember that during your stay if you have specific complaints or issues please bring them up to the front desk so that we can address them while you are here and make your stay a more pleasant one. We can do anything from more service in the room to changing rooms to a more satisfactory one. We look forward to you staying with us again so we can make your next stay a pleasant experience.

Room was clean but for the price, it was small and bed was too small! Very noisy bathroom fan came on when light was turned on!!!! Female staff next day were very nice. However when we arrived the Male Receptionist was not cheerful, or welcoming at all. Hotel was too far from everything. No cab service on the 2nd day no bus. Loved the bakery next door, great coffee and pastries! Breakfast at hotel was fresh and great for the price. No toast or muffins though! I won't stay there again. It took us 45 min to walk from the bus stop to the hotel! Too far out and extremely dangerous walking along the busy highway with no sidewalk!!!

We are sorry you had difficulty with transportation while you were here, unfortunately we are located in a small town and we don't have the best in terms of transportation for those who do not have their own vehicle. This was honestly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed. It absolutely should not be a super8. This building needs to be torn down. You could hear every footstep from the floor above. Not to mention the constant creak from the floor. The “free breakfast” was coffee and yogurt. The best was horrible. Small tv. Old, just old rooms Very misleading being under the super8 brand.

I make a yearly trip to the area and always spend the first night at this property even though it’s a bit now why of my way. It’s well maintained, the staff is outstanding, and it’s reasonably priced.
