Wedding weekend
Stayed for a long weekend to attend a friends wedding and wish we could have spent more time relaxing at the house, but were kept pretty busy with social activities. Everything was perfect and the hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Another awesome spring break trip
This was like my 10th trip to Allure. We had a blast, like always. The lake is very low right now, but I fished from the bank and still caught about 6 nice catfish and 6 bass. They were all keepers except for one. Vanessa and Steve are the greatest hosts ever and the houses are spotless . You can rent 1 house or 3 houses. There is lots of room for lots of people. I highly recommend this place

Quick trip to near west Texas with family
Property was very comfortable with personal touches by the owners throughout the property and the house. Great views of the lake, private and safe neighborhood. Owners were very welcoming and cared that we had a great experience. We will definitely be back!!

Charmed Thanksgiving
From the pictures I knew the property was beautiful…spectacular is a closer fit and I was charmed from the get go. From the house, to the lake, and the party barn, all done up in such a way as make you feel at home. The best though are the hosts.. Steve and Vanessa treated us like family which made our stay there feel like a homecoming. Will definitely go back.

Family time at the lake..
What a great place to spend time with the family at Lake Leon. Beautiful, spacious lake house with stunning views of the lake. Even had a little homemade ice cream surprise form the host. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Thanksgiving Stay
We stayed at Allure over the Thanksgiving Holiday 2021. It was incredible. Our family enjoyed every bit of the experience. We can not wait to go back. Looked at when to go back in the summer before we left. So much to do, but also so relaxing. Vanessa and Steve could not have been any more accommodating. From making sure the give you the tour of the property upon arrival, to wishing you well upon your departure. The entire trip was 5 stars.

Texas Best
I’ve rented from Steve and Vanessa 7 times, and it’s a great experience every single time. I used to rent houses all over Texas, but now we almost always come to Allure. Everything you need is there! I always catch lots of fish and have an amazing time. I highly recommend this place for anyone. I have had all ages of friends and family there and everyone loves it!

Relax at the lake
All of the comforts of home. Beautiful scenery inside & out. Easy access to the lake, with a nice fishing dock. When the weather kept you in doors, there was fun time in the game room "The Barn". Short drive, to in town dinning and golf. Steve & Vannessa were very friendly and eager to help. Over all a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!! So Much More Than Allure!!
I booked Allure as a long weekend getaway to celebrate a milestone birthday with some friends. The photos, reviews and description online had me excited to explore a part of Texas I hadn't visited before as well as relax and enjoy time with friends. This property is so much more than what was described. It was the absolute perfect place! The views are breathtaking. The home is very comfortable and spacious. The docks provided great fishing spots and sunset views. My friends and I all enjoy cooking and grilling. The house had everything we needed and even when we needed that one item, the hosts were willing to grab it for us on their run to the store, if they didn't already have it. There is also a community party barn that also provided a great place to hang out, play some darts and pool as well as jam to some music and smoke brisket. Vannessa and Steve were some of the most incredible hosts that any of us have ever come across. They were very accommodating and even went above and beyond to help me celebrate my birthday with us, with a cake and champagne. They were so much more than hosts, they were unknown friends who made the weekend so much more enjoyable. Thanks again for the perfect weekend to step into a new decade for me! We will be seeing you again soon!

Brought family and kids in for the weekend. Had all the amenities you could need. Great location and plenty of stuff to keep both kids and adults entertained. Fishing off the dock and access to the party barn a few steps away were a nice plus.

Best VRBO in Texas
This was my 7th visit to Alure. We used to go to other places to fish, but now we just keep coming back here. They have it all. Super clean houses, a nice boat dock , a party barn and they are some of the most kindest most hospitable people I have ever met. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I highly recommend Alure to anyone that wants to get away and relax in a quiet little piece of heaven,. (And the fishing is good !)

I cannot give this place enough stars. Vanessa and Steve go out of their way to ensure your stay is amazing. My only complaint is that we had too many things outside of the property we needed to attend and didnt have the time to enjoy everything this place had to offer. Do not hesitate to stay here. Awesome Place
This place was absolutely perfect for our trip. The property owners Steve and Venessa were a blast to hangout with in the party barn. Couldn’t have asked for better host. The house is perfect for that quick getaway and even has a great dock to fish off of. I will be booking this again next year.

Pleasant, relaxing and comfortable stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Allure. Steve was amazing as the host and went above and beyond in ensuring our stay was comfortable and stress free. Property was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming in the lake (Steve had plenty of life jackets supplies), caught some Fish, watched beautiful sunset from the dock, did paddle boating, played karaoke in the barn, grilled chicken and corn, did campfire night with s’mores and gazed excellent view of stars. All of this packed in just 2 nights stay and it wouldn’t be possible without Steve’s hospitality. It was the PERFECT short vacation we hoped for. We will come back again for sure.

Quarantine getaway
The property is very nice and welcoming and the pictures do it justice. My family and I were excited to have a short getaway before school started and were happy with the secluded nature of the property. The home is very clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals for the four of us. We were also excited about the party barn and didn't even get a chance to try it out with the lake and fishing being more than enough for us to have a good time. Steve and Vanessa were great and Vanessa gave us some good tips for places to go in Eastland. We will definitely remember this weekend and look forward to booking again!

Amazing Time at Allure
This is a wonderful place to go with your family and get away from the business of life. We fished, floated in the lake, paddle boated, played games, cooked in their up-to-date kitchen, played darts and corn hole, sang karaoke almost nightly in the party barn, watched the stars (note there is hardly any light pollution so you will see more than you have probably ever seen in your life), cooked s'mores, and just had good plain old fashioned fun as a family. Owners were very personable and friendly. We highly recommend anyone and everyone to give this place a try for their next family getaway or small reunion. (They have other houses too.) Thank you Steve, Vanessa, and Dale for your hospitality and friendship!
