'What a great stay for our family! This retreat is a sweet, cozy cottage right on the banks of the Brazos River. It’s only a few miles from Waco but you’ll feel miles away from the world! The house had everything possible you could need. It is well appointed and was comfortable sleeping for 6. There is great outdoor space with a fire pit and chairs right by the river. We will definitely look to stay here again!'

'This property was perfect for my family with 3 kids, five years old and younger. The inside is clean and beautiful with many thoughtful touches. And the outside is serene and spacious, with front and back porches to relax on and watch the kids play. We loved the feeling of being out in the country while having the conveniences of a full kitchen and a thoughtfully furnished space. 'We had our three adult children and their significant others come to celebrate a family wedding. The home was perfect for us as we enjoyed the large dining room and fully stocked kitchen. The separate mother in law suite in the back was perfect for a couple and provided a quiet space. If you are bringing young children, this home would be perfect! 'Had a great time here with our family (2 kids, 7 and 2). Came for the eclipse, but this seemed like a solid base regardless of when you’d be in Waco. Chatted with the hosts for a while on the first day, very welcoming and had some great reccos in local restaurants!'

'The interior and amenities were perfectly satisfactory, BUT we were disapointed that the yard was not maintained, the firepit that was advertised didnt exist, and the whole street and neighboring property was under major construction. The latter part is no fault of the owners, it was just a bit misleading, thinking we had a cute cozy backyard for the kids to play in, but instead had to share it with work vans and bulldozers. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay, and I can imagine this place...
