Mooi nieuw hotel
Mooi hotel, mooie kamers, wel druk en in restaurant tafels dicht op elkaar. Badkamer heel groot maar geen enkele opbergmogelijkheid. Kamerprijs is wel extreem hoog zelfs voor ijslandse begrippen.

Bijzonder hotel op een bijzondere locatie
Het hotel ligt op een afgelegen en daardoor bijzondere locatie, dicht bij een aantal highlights van zuid ost IJsland. We hadden een suite geboekt. Prachtige kamer! Prachtig uitzicht met grote ramen: klaar om het Noorderlicht te spotten. We hebben er ook gedineerd. Redelijk goed. Ontbijt ook aardig,maar niet bijzonder voor een 4 sterren hotel.

A great hotel located perfectly for day-trips along the southern coast of Iceland. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are tidy and clean, yet the walls are paper-thin, so you can hear your neighbors well. The restaurant serves fresh food and is recommendable. The complementary breakfast was good. Unfortunately most services were closed during the COVID-19 pandamic, so I cannot review those.

Excellent hotel - clean, modern and efficient. Very isolated, while that’s not bad there was no access to activities at property (had to drive to do any hiking, sightseeing, etc.). Would be nice to have at least a hike from the property. Will stay here again!

This was a beautiful stay and the service was second to none. They offered room calls for the Aurora Borealis and they had dining options on site. They also had shoe drying racks (for a fee). The only draw back was that it was more expensive than the other hotels we booked. However, the food was the best we have had in Iceland thus far so it was worth it. Spa amenities were also very lovely.
