'Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung des alten Hauses wurde hervorragend renoviert und die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der angrenzende Garten mit tropischen Früchten wurde uns vom Besitzer liebevoll vorgestellt. Der Standort ist perfekt, um mal eben nach Horta reinzufahren (wir hatten einen Scooter gemietet) oder die Insel zu erkunden. 'The house is located on a hill and the neighbours are mostly farmers. The house offers all necessary facilities and as a guest you can also use its beautiful garden. A small supermarket and a baker are within 5 min driving distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and gave us some good suggestions for trips to interesting places and for nice hikes. If you like a relaxing holiday in the Faial countryside we can recommend this house.'

'We were only on Faial for three days but this house and our host made us wish we had booked a full week. The location is removed from the traffic of town, but close enough to walk into town numerous times per day (if you are up to a modest hill climb). A clean house with a great view of the harbour. Our host Marco was very accommodating as were the owners of the property. We highly recommend this house on Faial.'

Myself, my sister, daughter and son in law had plenty of space, 3 separate bedrooms, 3 separate bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and a store around the corner for supplies. Wonderful outdoor space. Gated property. Communication with Zelda was a breeze. She was very helpful explaining how appliances worked and places to explore. We loved our stay!!!! Thank you!!!'

'Jolie petite maison à proximité du centre ville d'Horta. Idéal pour profiter d'Horta et pour rayonner sur Faial. La maison a du cachet, mais est de taille modeste. Nous étions 4 dont 2 enfants (8 et 10), et on aurait pu se sentir à l'étroit si la météo nous avait obligés à rester à l'intérieur. Pas de problème par contre pour les couchages, même si l'escalier d'accès est pentu. A noter le passage très étroit pour accéder en voiture à la maison, mais ça passe! Pour les procédures d'arrivée puis...

'Wij vonden het een hotel waar alles klopte gewoon tot in de details. Wij hadden een kamer aan de zeekant met uitzicht op de Pico berg. Te bedenken valt dat bij pech je ook aan de straatkant kunt terecht komen en dat is minder ! Ontbijt was prima. Internet was gratis, maar er moet gezegd worden dat 1 Mb snelheid niet meer van deze tijd is. Verder zijn wij verwend met een flatscreen en HD en dan is een buizen tv uit de tijd. Aanwezige kanalen voldoende en even het nieuws kijken ok. Vandaar wat...
