'Overall great vibes! Staff are very polite and down to earth. Rooms are very modern and the bed is so huge which is a plus if you have a guest. 'Hotel Max is central, hip, and functional. We stayed here once before in a different decade. It has a great location and accommodations are just fine, but given the competition in Seattle, it came up a bit short on this stay. Parking is always a bear in Seattle. 'We needed to be close to Swedish Cherry Hill and this worked well. Close enough to walk. Good thing it was in the mid 60 ‘s. This hotel has no AC. Our room was immaculately clean every day. Had a fridge and a microwave. There is a bunch of casual food walking distance and one up scale restaurant called Stella. Felt safe walking around in the early evenings. Great for the price! '

'The State Hotel was a great property. It was my first time here and I loved the room and location. I do think the one chair in the room is a bit uncomfortable but that’s just me. The hotel is next to Pike Place and of course there’sg homeless around the area but they don’t really bother you. Bed was comfortable. I loved the shower and could have stayed in there for hours. Would stay again. '
