Mooi hotel, goede locatie
Dichtbij het centrum en het personeel is zeer behulpzaam. Bus halte is ook dichtbij. Een echte aanrader.

Groot hotel aan de rand van het centrum
De entree van het hotel ziet er mooi uit. De kamers zijn aan vernieuwing en modernisering toe. Het eten in het hotel is goed. De wandeling naar het centrum (dom) duurt een klein half uur.

Ik zou niemand aanraden om in dit hotel te logeren. De kamers zijn te oud en voldoet niet aan de wensen van de hedendaagse reizigers die in vier of vijf sterren hotels logeren.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed 3 nights at FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo the first week of May. The front desk staff greeted us and provided area maps and dining recommendations. The ground floor of the hotel was immaculate and the buffet breakfast was varied and fresh and was mostly sufficient except on the final day fresh fruit bowl had run out and was not replenished despite being asked. The room provided had 4 twin beds which were not very comfortable. There was also not enough space in the room to be comfortable as a family of 4. The bathroom however was clean and spacious. Concerns voiced to the hotel manager regarding bedroom accommodations were listed to professionally and respectfully. I would recommend staying at this hotel but be aware of the smaller rooms.

Puede parecer un poco alejado del centro de Florencia en el mapa pero en realidad no lo es tanto. La recepción y el área de bar es muy buena. Lamentablemente los cuartos son calurosos y el baño es chico. Aún así recomendaría hospedarse aquí.

La atención, limpieza y servicio en la recepción y restaurante excelente pero en el servicio del parking deja mucho que desear ya que el vigilante del parking deberia estar en la entrada no en el sótano. Eso les falta mejorar.

Ótimo hotel, entretanto a garagem deve ser reservada com antecedência. Quando chegamos não havia garagem disponível, mas o atendente nos deu uma opção de valet que supriu nossas necessidades. Não é tão perto do centro, mas o local vale a pena. Café da manhã incrível!

Avoid at all costs! The beds are terribly uncomfortable. The free breakfast was terrible. Our room was above the lobby and you can hear every single noise echo into the room. Location is great but for the price you might as well stay in a hostel.

Minor issues: The electrical outlets in the room were problematic. Shower had a long delay when adjusting temperature Free breakfast was great, staff friendly, room and common areas clean and attractive, and walkable to Florence areas of interest. Would stay there again!

Outstanding staff. Comfortable and well appointed rooms. The location of the hotel is in a welcomed quiet area yet just a short walk to everything one comes to see in Florence. We highly recommend making this hotel your base camp while visiting Florence.

They gave us a not cleaned room, they didn’t clean some trash that the other guests left over there. They didn’t put new towels and they left towels in the bathroom on the floor.

We unfortunately did not have a good experience at this property and were quite disappointed and felt it was very overpriced. The room was quite small with scratches on the walls but the bathrooms were clean. It was extremely noisy to the point we slept poorly. We could literally here the iPhone alarm in the morning of the unit next door to us. The maids also start much earlier than other hotels like 7-8:30 am so the first day we did not put on do not disturb it was an issue. In addition one day we had a problem where our door would not lock and we have a booked tour and were rushing to get the concierge to help us lock the room so our belongings were safe. They did it but this is should really not happen in the first place. The breakfast was very average. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I have stayed in many hotels.

The location is a little distant from the main centre but it’s only a ten minute walk to the centre of town via the riverside footpath. About 2.5km from the railway station. Hotel itself is very clean and comfortable with great buffet breakfast. Excellent room.

The hotel staff is awesome. They were very accommodating when I showed up early and provided me with a room upgrade. The hotels is in a great area. It is a bit dated but very clean. The common areas are well appointed and breakfast is good. Very close to historic sites and easy walk to many restaurants and sites.

A very convenient location. Can travel to all four cirners of Florence from this location. Beautiful view on the Lungarno. Music, street food by the river bank. Very comfortable rooms and bed linens. Quiet! Even with many guests. Reception desk watm and welcoming. Speak English! Restaurant excellent. Separate Italian and "American food " restaurant with glass enclosed patio and open- air patio for smokers.
