Goede locatie, maar er is veel aan vervanging toe.
Locatie is perfect, op een half uurtje lopen van de stad. Parkeren op locatie is maar erg klein en we hebben meerdere malen betaald moeten parkeren omdat deze parking vol zat. Alles was ok, maar het hotel is gewoon flink aan het verouderen. Persoonlijk lijkt het mij niet meer 4 sterren waard.

Leuk hotel alleen iets te ver van het centrum
Leuk hotel, vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt Prima kamers Afstand naar het echte centrum iets te ver.

Statig, klassiek hotel met top prijs en kwaliteit
Beslist boeken. Net aan de overkant van Florence en het drukke gedeelte! Veel groen en statig, ouderwets uitziend maar super leuk klassiek hotel met een knipoog. Schijnbaar in de zomer een zwembad in de voortuin. Zeker de moeite waard en prijs en kwaliteit is de moeite waard! Ontbijt buffet uitgebreid en heerlijke zelfgemaakte cappuccino.

Nice old Villa converted to a hotel
Amazing rooms with high ceilings. Great hygiene. Amazing location next to Boboli gardens and Porta Romana. Only downside was the lack of adequate choice at the breakfast.

Prachtig hotel voor stedentrip Florence
Mooie villa aan rand van centrum Florence: toplocatie. Ontbijt was voor Italiaanse begrippen dik in orde. Kamer was ruim, comfortabel en schoon. De airconditioning werkte top, wat prettig was met een buitentemperatuur van 37+

I got charged for breakfast when all I had was coffee. I do think that they should include the breakfast otherwise was a great location so quiet.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, it has its own free parking which is a great benefit and is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of many sights and restaurants. However the part of the property we stayed in is a bit run-down and could use some updating. It worked for us (a family of 3) for the one night and I think would have worked for my spouse and I when we were fresh out of college.

Stayed at Villa Carlotta for 4 night in September and it was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is in beautiful and in a safe area a 10 minute walk to Boboli Gardens and the old city. Parking available on site.

You don't get a double bed even if you ask and when you request to have the single beds put together as a double bed for a couple, nothing is done. This property is overrated and overprice for what you get.

Nice Hotel in convenient location with parking. Good breakfast. Street in front of Hotel is very narrow and access to hotel parking is very narrow. Air Conditioning was not working during our stay.

Nice Hotel
We stayed 3 nights here as part of a long trip. This is a lovely hotel in a quiet part of the city but within easy walking distance to Boboli Gardens, Pitti Palace etc. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The small carpark is a bit tight but definitely a plus as we were on a driving tour, although there is on street parking right outside which costs €2 per hour (free on Sundays) Our room was comfortable and had a small terrace which was a nice space to sit and relax Breakfast was nice, fairly simple, everything was fresh and the breakfast room overlooking the pool was nice too. We didn't use the pool but it was a good addition to the facilities and was really clean and well maintained.

Si vous aimez un endroit plus calme que le centre des attractions, ceci est l’endroit idéal. Une petite marche est nécessaire pour se rendre aux attraits touristiques mais parfait pour digestion! L’hôtel est typiquement Italien et entouré de verdure. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et recommandons l’endroit sans hésitation.

The location is fantastic, easy to walk in and out of the city center. Staff are friendly and responsive. Parking is VERY limited but street parking (paid) seemed plentiful and at the time of my stay was $24 Euro per day (free Sundays). I stayed in the annex of the property not the actual villa and there seems to be a noise issue as I found the walls/doors very thin (and could hear all my neighbors, anyone in the hall, etc) and had responded to the initial question the website sends out when I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night. The MOD had messaged me thru hotels.com about moving rooms, but I never received the message. By the time she saw me, the other room was not still available but I did appreciate the proactive handling the situation even if the app didn't relay the message (never received it, even at a later time).

Property was perfect for what we needed, easy walking distance to all the tourist locations, staff were lovely and very friendly and went above and beyond to order a taxi for me to get to the airport at 5am. Only compliant would be the hall smelled a bit off, there was no "do not disturb" sign in our room and I was unable to access the safe. However this is just nit picking, the property was excellent otherwise.

UNE ARNAQUE !
Une vaste escroquerie ! Pour 250€ la nuit : tout est vétuste. C’est abimé dans tous les sens. Des trous de cigarettes dans les rideaux. Le velours orange est devenu gris. Des énormes taches de fuites d’eau au plafond. Les serrures qui tournent sur elle même. Une literie d’un autre âge. Les finitions de l’ordre de la blague quand on pense au prix et au fait c’est un 4 étoiles. Le lit de notre fille n’était pas fait et elle n’avait de serviette pour la douche. Une coupure d’eau à 10h non prévenue. Je me suis faite mal recevoir à l’accueil quand j’ai demandé une solution à l’accueil pour la fille qui se lavait. Des montagnes de poussière partout. Vraiment nous avons halluciné sur l’état d’entretien et de non ménage de l’établissement.

The hotel room needs urgent renovation. Old carpet in the corridors smells the age. Mattress was quite old and noisy, bed linen and towels was old must be changed. Location is great a couple blocks from Roman gate, but quite. Prking is available inside the property. I would not stay there again neither I would recommend unless it’s renovated.
