Op afspraak opgehaald op de luchthaven voor €15,-. Francesco is erg aardig en spreekt goed Engels. Deze B&B ligt weliswaar aan een drukke kruising, maar alles is dubbel glas en als t warm is kan de airco aan. Accommodatie is nieuw en ziet er fris uit. Alles is op loopafstand en er zijn genoeg busverbindingen. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. De moeder van Fracesco had een taart gebakken voor de gasten. Bijzonder smakelijk. Volgende keer ga ik hier weer logeren!

Goede plek
Keurige kamer, goede service. Jammer dat de wastafel alleen koud water heeft, scheren met een kwast moet dan onder de douche.De bedden hadden harde matrassen, maar dat is ook een kwestie van "smaak". Ontbijt was netjes verzorgd, maar niet overdadig. De wifi lag er regelmatig uit en de televisie heeft uitsluitend Italiaanse zenders. Er is airconditioning. Online weer inchecken voor de terugvlucht kan je doen in het kantoor van de gastheer Francesco, prima. De gastheer was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij geeft ook veel info over wat je kunt doen en waar je goed kunt eten. Centrum ligt op loopafstand, heel fijn. Komt wel tot uitdrukking in de prijs, die is exclusief toeristenbelasting. Voor hetzelfde geld zat ik in Berlijn in een 5 sterrenhotel een paar jaar geleden.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The recommendations for dining out were just what we were looking for, the location was within 30 minutes walking to anything we needed in any direction whether it be train, shopping, eating, tour meet ups, etc... It was a bit noisy but that is to be expected in a city and the floors squeaked which didn't bother us as the place was amazing and comfortable. Loved the tea in the room for anytime we needed it and the coffee made to order in the morning added the perfect touch. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

Ok stay
We booked this hotel because it says on Hotels.com that it has a spa, which it didn't. There was a spa in the same building , owned by someone else, and closed while we were there. Obviously this disappointed us, and should be better communicated on hotels.com. The room itself was spacious, and quite Nice with a big bathroom, but it was very noisy from the street outside , and to hear other People talk outside the room. There was parking availabe on the street if you are Lucky, or in a Ford garage 5 minutes walk away. It seemed a bit sketchy, and you need to leave the car key with the People who work at the garage, they did not speak any English. It is a 20-30 minute walk into the city center, which was good for us.

I am really sorry form your words. 1. The Spa is in the same building od the B&B, just a level lower, so THERE IS A SPA. But you arrived very late in the evening and I told you to go and directly check avaibility, Perhaps you didn't do it…. 2. I am sorry for the the noise of the street you heard. We have double insonorized Windows but perhaps they are nor enough for your ears. You know, Florence is a busy town: ir was better for you to reserve a hotel in the countryside. 3. As regards the garage, it is a private garage. It Italy you Always have to leave the Keys in this kind of parkings. Was it perhaps your first time?????? Lovely property, within waling distance of the Duomo. Francesca was amazing , the rooms well appointed and the breakfast delightful. This B&B is full of character and charm. I definitely plan on returning. I traveled with my daughter and felt very welcomed by Francesca. I highly recommend this property.

What an absolutely lovely B&B!! It’s even more beautiful than the photos! Clean, spacious (!!), elegant, conveniently located, and absolutely homey. Delicious breakfast, a welcome bottle of wine... Francesca outdoes herself as a host ! I would love to stay here again. Thank you so much, Francesca!!

O prédio é muito velho. Elevador assustador para subir as malas. Mas o quarto é lindo, bem decorado. O café da manhã especial. A dona do hotel faz tudo com muito carinho. Recomendo, com as ressalvas anteriormente citadas.

Our B&B is in a XIX century building completely renovated in 2017…. The lift is small but useful. You know...few buildings in Florence have a lift, especially in the centre….. All the best,

Great B&B
Lovely decorated B&B, Francesca our host was lovely and very helpful, booking us dinner and giving us a map of Florence. The continenetal cold breakfast was very generous with lots of pastries, cereal, toast, meats and cheeses. The large room was very nicely decorated and clean with a very comfy bed and amazing floor. We were also given a slightly later checkout when I fell ill on the day we left and pointed in the direction of a pharmacy. Only downside was that the B&B is a good 20 minute walk into the main part of Florence and there was a reasonable amount of street noise, however as the windows appeared to be original I don't think this could be helped!

Vi opplevde Fransesco's (eieren) hjelpsomhet og han hjalp med både å ringe til videre hoteller på vores reise og vi hadde en hyggelig prat om Firenze Opera. Hotellet ligger i en rolig bydel, ca et kvarters rolig gange fra spendende matsteder, marked og går man inn til byen hele veien på ca 30 min har det allerede vært masse hyggelige opplevelser innen man kommer inn i turistmyldret. Stort, lyst og romslig hotelværelse og en deilig frokost. Anbefales!

This is a spacious BandB about fifteen minute walk away from Galleria Academia. You are very secure here because there are two keyed areas and a keypad lock to get to your room. The owner is not 24/7, but will make sure you can access when he is not present. The breakfast is simple but good. The room was huge and very comfortable. The parking is a little challenging but available. Owner is friendly and helpful.

Room spacious with a balcony facing the street. Plenty of hanging space,full length mirror, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom also roomy with a shower and ample towels are supplied. Breakfast consists of cereal, toast, croissants, fruit, cheese, meat and yoghurts.Tea or coffee made and brought to your table for you. Francesco the owner was a delight and gave us really good info on parking and places to visit. Hotel walking distance to most local sites and a bus stop is around the corner. Again Francesco will advise on tickets.All in all a brilliant holiday.

We enjoyed our stay at Opera for our short time in Florence. The hotel was a little walk away from the historic center. The room was nice and large. The location is good (about 15 minutes from train station and also from Duomo). Breakfast was good as compared to other options. Francisco was very nice and professional. The only drawback was the noise from the street overnight. Also, you’ll hear if anybody uses the entrance door.

Todo es excelente.la habitación es amplia, confortable y con pequeños detalles. El baño igualmente amplio y cómodo. La ubicación del B&B es estupenda en una zona muy tranquila y a pocos minutos del casco víejo de Florencia. Hay un garaje muy cerca y un parking muy grande a unos 10 minutos caminado. El wifi funciona bien y el desayuno es correcto . Por último el gerente del lugar es súper amable y está deseando ayudar. En definitiva un 10.

Muy recomendable, volvería sin dudarlo.
Muy buen trato por parte de Franchesco, siempre muy atento a nuestras necesidades. La habitación "Tosca" enorme y muy limpia. Con todo lo que se puede necesitar para pasar unos días geniales. Parece algo alejada del centro pero en realidad es ideal para visitar Florencia, se puede ir andando a cualquier sitio. Volvería sin dudarlo y se lo recomendaré a todos mis amigos.

It was a great location. Close to most everything. Walking is not a problem. The building was very old, and the lift is necessary to get your bags up to the location. Only one person and 2 pieces of luggage fit in the lift. Breakfast left something to be desired, not quite enough. Francesco however, our host, was great! Very helpful, he even helped us book our train tickets for the next leg of our trip! Grazie Francesco!!! The outside of the building was being worked on, therefore, we couldn't leave our windows open. Maybe we just picked the wrong time of year to. Is it. The air conditioner didn't work, so it became rather warm! As I mentioned, close to all of he best spots in Florence. Just down the street, a great family run restaurant called il Nazone! Amazing! Just a few blocks from the Mercato Centrale! Always great finds there!

Couldn't recommend more highly
This B and B is fantastic, the rooms extremely spacious and bathrooms in great condition. We stayed in room Aida and were blown away! The owner and team are fantastic, extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location is only about 15minutes from piazza duomo, so you're not in the centre but for us this was what we wanted as it made our stay more peaceful than being right in the centre. The city is easy to get around and the station around a 15 minute walk. We will definitely be back!
