I reserved through Hotels.com a room at a pet friendly hotel in Hollywood FL, and paid in full for reservation. The reservation page stated it was a pet friendly hotel, and specified no weight limits for customers' pets. I received a confirmation number for the reservation in an email saying the booking was guaranteed. When I arrived at the hotel for check in, the hotel clerk refused to check me in because my pet was larger than 25 lbs. I told the receptionist the hotels.com website does not say there was a weight limit, she says she knows but she cannot check me in the room because of my pet. I told her to just check in myself and will take the pet to friend until the second day, she still refused to check me in for the room I reserved and fully paid for. Bad attitude of the receptionist and security guard. Garbage people, run fast before you will share my experience there.
