Decor and furniture in hotel room is basic but gets the job done. Biggest issue was cleanliness of the linen and towels. Bedsheets had some stains and hair on it. Worst part were the towels with very big heavy stains and the shower had mold growing on the top.

I booked with Expedia. It was a better rate. All I had was 80.00. it was a Wednesday and was going to be charged 91.00 at the motel. I decided to book through Expedia a non smoking room with one queen bed, since I'm a nonsmoker. I had already been staying at this motel 6 for 5 days previously which I paid 455.00, which was the deal I was gave by the clerk so i would book directly through them instead of third party app. The third party I was initially going to book through quoted me the same price except it was a non smoking room with one queen bed. So I was getting an upgrade to not use third party and go through the hotel directly for two queen beds smoking. Upon checking out after my 5 day stay, and using Expedia to book a cheaper rate the hotel cancelled my stay and declined to waive it to get my money back. I was thrown out on the streets. Motel 6 blue mound are evil people and lie and steal anyone's money who book through a third party.

It is very clean. Shower works great, no water draining issues. Great restaurant a few yards away. Local dinner not franchise.

Defective Plumbing
The toilet overflowed while I was out of the room. I had nothing to do with causing that. I came back to the room with an inch of toilet water covering the entire floor. The management went unhinged and blamed me even though I wasn’t in the room when it happened. The manager threatened to charge me with vandalism for their own defective plumbing. Worst hotel experience ever.

This room clean is terrible. My hair is black, but I found the brown hair in the bed and I use the table for my ipad but I found lots ants on the top. I don’t know why have the ants!!!

I woke up at 7:45am to the sound of furniture being dragged across the room. After a minute of this I called the front office and told them I had planned to sleep until 9:30, having had a long trip the day before. I couldn’t fall back asleep and was furious. The insensitive cleaning crew woke me up and had no regard for my peace of mind downstairs from where they dragged furniture.

Accidentally booked a smoking room, which smelled terrible. Asked and received a non-smoking, and a cockroach crawled across the table as soon as I entered. Left immediately. Otherwise the layout and make of the rooms aren't very appealing. No carpeting in a room is disappointing.

The motel does not offer hair dryer, shampoo nor other essentials. Beds are the worst, super small. The room is very small itself if you open the bathroom door you cannot open the front door. No closet. No drawers to store anything. If it rains there’s puddles of water at ever entrance. The train tracks are located behind so trains all night n super loud. Other than the the staff is very nice.

You get what you pay for
The owners were not friendly at all. Pretty rude actually. We were staying 3 nights. Asked for wash cloths the second day. We were told they wouldn't have any ready until the next day? Won't be back.
