Mooi hotel in een mooie, rustige omgeving.
Mooi hotel in een rustige en erg mooie omgeving dichtbij de Skyline Caverns en ingang naar the Skyline Drive. Ideaal om even te onthaasten na het bezoeken van de grote steden in de regio. Gelegen in een zeer mooi natuur gebied. Ontbijt zoals vermeld bij Expedia bleek helaas niet inbegrepen, ondanks de meerprijs.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds since I’m traveling with my wife and daughter, as specified during booking. Pre paid as well in full. Arrived at the hotel, checked in, got to our room where we found it was just a single king bed. Assumed positively that there was just a mistake so headed back down to adjust. When speaking with front desk about having the incorrect room, the same staff member that checked us informed me “we over booked and sold out” yet this was not shared at any point til now. Feel that such information should have been communicated when originally checking in. Communicated how our family needs two beds and was displeased with lack of communication and was open minded for solutions. Was offered a different but bigger single king room, two separate rooms on opposite sides of the floor (my daughter is 6), and lastly more blankets so she could sleep on the floor. No true apology or validation of inconvenience. Frequent front royal area every other month and always book here, impacted to not moving forward. Room quality is great, pool area is great, no other issues.

I spent the day moving and driving the first leg of a cross country trip with my dog, after making reservations at pet friendly hoels only through Expedia was told they were not pet friendly to dogs, But I would have to pay an additional $75.00. I had to pay it and went to my room that had such dim lighting I could not see the numbers on the phone or thethe remote control I called the front desk for lightbulbs at the side of the bed. They dif not have any and told me I was in a newly renovated room and the new fixtures did not work anyway. There was also loud rap and hip hop music coming from a return air vent across from my door. Also hammering. I was told renovations were going on from 8 in the morning until 8 at night. They were also traing large dogs to sniff out bombs and other things. Two of these saw my 13 year old small dog and barked very agressively and scared her and she was charged $75 for one night. Meanwhile they allowed these service dogs were allowed to train here. When I made all of this clear to the front desk they very nicely told me nothing could be done about my bill. No one should ever pay to stay here any time soon.

A lovely property with beautiful views and delightful staff. I wish they offered a breakfast buffet every morning, however, while the restaurant is closed. They don't offer breakfast if the hotel has a meeting. But they don't inform the guests!

I like the location of this hotel, including the view and nearby shopping. This was my favorite Front Royal hotel before Covid closure, and I'm glad it reopened (under new management). However, I think booking rooms on a floor where there is construction with power tools from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week without informing guests is not acceptable,

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Shenandoah National Park. It was north of the park about 5-10 minutes. There are plenty of accommodations close by, but you do need to drive into town if you want local food or coffee. We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, and on site amenities.

Had a great stay. Every hotel desk member was awesome and beyond helpful! Room was large and very clean. Wish the juzzi was working but it was hot, just no jets. Also, Houlihan was closed for reno and that would’ve been nice to have been open. 15min from entrance to skyline/shenadoah and 45 to 1.15 hr drive to lots of amazing hiking.

Customer service was great! We had our next door neighbors making so much noise around 2 am which woke me up . Breakfast was not so good, good thing I asked just for one time. Checking out was smooth and we were offered extra water bottles to take for our trip. Overall experience was good, definitely, we could stay again here.

Usually we love this property. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant had been closed after I made our reservations specifically asking if it was open they said yes. It closed the week before we arrived. The hot tub did not work. Checked in on Wednesday had to ask for room cleaning on Saturday.

This hotel was in a great location as we traveled. It is very welcoming and the desk reception was warm & helpful. The top floors were in the midst of being renovated, which they will obviously be renovating the other floors soon. Would love to return when finished to see the improvements. No rugs in the rooms would be more hygienic and a walk-in shower more accessible. We don't golf, plus off season for most part but looks like a great course is part of the property.

I liked how easy check in and out was, the staff was very helpful and accommodating... The restaurant attached to the hotel was very convenient, however there are other shopping centers around the hotel that also have places to eat and shop! Great overall!

The girl at check in was great, very personable. The staff was very nice. Room fridge was extremely noisy at night and shower head was crazy but other than that, the king bed was awesome.

This was our second stay (same time last year) at this particular DoubleTree hotel. The hotel itself is great and we had high expectations after last year's stay. However, that was not the case this time. Our room was never cleaned after our first night's stay. The shower has large bottles affixed to the shower for Shower Gel/Body Wash (2 of them) and a Cleansing Shampoo. Both body wash bottles (mind you these are 16 ounce bottles) were empty enough that the pump couldn't get anything out of them and they don't come off the wall so you can't shake them. Also, the coffee machine was missing the part that holds the coffee/tea bags so although it would boil the water and put it into your cup(s), the pods/bag had to sit inside your cup and you had to spoon them out yourself. There was only one small bar of soap for the sink and the shower so you needed to make the best of it. None of these are "deal breakers", but I have come to expect better from DoubleTree/Hilton hotels and in particular this one.

Just a very nice hotel with a lot of amenities and a great restaurant attached to the hotel. I wished I brought my golf clubs because there is a nice course right behind it.
