Friendly personnel, great cuisine. Breakfast was average but not great, and too bad the place does not offer a view on the coutryside. Room was basic: proper but simple. Poor tv quality and wifi conditions, and no signal for your mobile phone. All in all it is a proper base for planning trips (Siena; Florence; Radda in Chianti) and most of all to relax and unwind

Omgeboekt!
Klant kon hier niet verblijven (heb al eerder bericht naar jullie gestuurd!) i.v.m. een storm de dag ervoor. Ze zijn omgeboekt naar hotel Palazzo in de Chianti met een upgrade qua kamer. Hotel had geen zwembad, L'Ultimo Mulino wel! Dus daarom nog verzocht om een diner maar de klant en ik niets meer vernomen. Nog geprobeerd meerdere malen te bellen, een mail gestuurd maar geen reactie!

zeer kalm rustig hotel
Het hotel ligt kilometers verwijderd van het volgende huis. Dit was erg vervelend toen bleek dat het restaurant een avond gesloten bleef, terwijl in de documentatie stond, dat het wel open moest zijn.

The property is perfect to wind down, it’s quiet with beautiful views. Room was clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. By car you can easily reach the Chianti villages, perfect to visit the shops and have delicious food.

Tolle Location - Entspannung pur.
Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Wirklich toll und entspannend. Den einzigen kleinen ABzug gab es, weil der Eimer im Bad nicht geleert war nach den letzten Gästen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. AUch stimmt der Adress-Eintrag in Google-Maps nicht.

I wanted to love this place but honestly it was pretty mediocre at best. There were definitely some nice aspects but in general I was dissatisfied. First and foremost, this hotel is split into two buildings located on opposite sides of the street. It should be mentioned that if you get the older building you should prepare to stay in an “updated” but largely outdated 500 year old building. Our hotel room was a dimly lit cave. The only window was one source located in a set of French doors that opened up to a patio that was located on a main walking path that multiple other guests used. Far from privat The exposed stone in the walls that should have made the room unique, and bursting with character instead made us feel claustrophobic and uncomfortable. The bathroom had no fan and no accessible window so ventilation was a constant problem. The ladies that ran the front desk were simultaneously both kind and unhelpful, with a mild attitude and pretentiousness. I would recommend they get added hands to help not only themselves but the overall experience for the guest as well. The clientele was rather bland and boring. Probably typical of a touristy wine town. It wasn’t all bad though. The grounds of the hotel were stunning and indeed very peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and pool are wonderful and a very nice touch. I just don’t think I would return. 3/5

Wunderschöne Unterkunft
Die Unterkunft hat zwei Haupthäuser. Wir waren im Le Noci. Dieses Haus liegt ein paar Fahrminuten vom Ultimo Mulino entfernt auf einem Hügel. Grosses Zimmer, wunderschöner Pool mit Liegen, Sonnenschirmen und Top Aussicht, Frühstück gute Auswahl und mit Kaffeeservice. Sehr freundliches und aufgestelltes Personal. Im Le Noci hat es kein Restaurant für Abendessen. Wir waren 1x im Haupthaus. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Da es kein Shop in der Nähe hat, empfehlen wir vor dem Aufenthalt z.B. in Radda in Chianti ein paar Snacks für Mittags zu kaufen :) Im Zimmer hat es ein kleiner Kühlschrank.

Mühle im Wald
Architektonisch gut umgebaute Mühlenanlage, mit Einschränkungen: der Speisesaal stilistisch ein Fehlgriff und das zugehörige Restaurant-Personal etwas gestresst. Die Zimmer sind bei guter Ausstattung zT schlecht Geräusch-isoliert. Insbesondere wenn man über eine Buchungsplattform bucht, werden schlechte Zimmer angeboten. Der Concierge war sehr freundlich! Die Anlage ist ruhig aber auch in einem Tal ohne Ausblick gelegen. Pool angenehm.

Viel Charm im Chianti-Gebiet
Das Hotel hat sehr viel Charm, liegt eingebettet im Wald und bietet Erholung pur. Die überwachsene Terrasse, der Pool am Waldrand, die heimelig eingerichteten Zimmer und der sehr gute Service schaffen eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Das Essen ist sehr gut wie auch die Auswahl und Qualität beim Frühstück. Der Tipp eines Mitarbeiters zu einem Weingut in der Nähe war fantastisch.

Un vero paradiso! Immerso nel verde l’albergo è pulitissimo sia all’interno che negli spazi esterni. C’è un accesso libero alla piscina che si trova in mezzo alla natura. L’albergo fornisce gli asciugamani per la piscina. Abbiamo preso una stanza classica, non tanto grande ma sufficiente anche per un soggiorno di una settimana, con un ampio bagno con vasca idromassaggio. Anche se non avevamo il terrazzo, ci sono fuori tanti spazi anche in disparte dove poter sedere a leggere o prendere un drink. Abbiamo cenato sotto la glicine fuori in un atmosfera molto rilassante con piatti tipici toscani molto buoni. Il personale è molto disponibile e simpatico e sempre all’ascolto. Ci hanno anche consigliato i posti da visitare in zona e sono tanti. Infatti, L’Ultimo Mulino si trova in una posizione centrale e ideale per poter visitare il Chianti. Abbiamo riscoperto il piacere di vivere in contatto con la natura con il solo rumore degli uccellini in un ambiente autentico.

Nice traditional hotel, lovely surroundings, attentive staff. Breakfast is good (not great) and rooms are good but bit dated. Fixing or replacing the AC wouldn't be a bad idea. Improving WiFi in the rooms neither as there's almost no mobile reception.

What a wonderful place! So charming! They had a restaurant on the grounds & we ate there the first night & the food was really good. Very quiet here. We had friends that stayed there 2 years ago & they told us about it. Everything was very clean. The breakfast has many choices. Cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, scrambled & hard boiled eggs, cheese, ham, coffee, tea, etc. I believe her name is Dashel, the woman who checked us in, was invaluable in the advice of where to go. She helped give us directions to get to Florence to return our rental, she was great! The lady that did breakfast was sweet & so was the waitress in the restaurant. I would highly recommend staying here!!

Tolles Hotel in alter Mühle
Das Hotel ist wirklich toll, man kann im ganzen Gebäude und im Außengelände etwas entdecken. Es ist idyllisch im Wald gelegen. Der Pool ist 20 m lang. Das Zimmer war wirklich schön und sehr groß. Wir fanden es perfekt. Ein Auto sollte man haben.

Super mais pas adapté aux petits enfants
Super hôtel, au calme, très jolie terrasse au restaurant. Par contre petite déception pour notre chambre, la taille de la fenêtre était très très petite et nous devions toujours allumer la lumière histoire de voir quelque chose. Nous voyageons avec une enfant de 18 mois et l'emplacement de la piscine en hauteur accessible par des escaliers en pierre n'étaient pas très sûrs, de plus que les barrières à côté des transats pouvaient très facilement laisser passer un petit enfant et causer une très mauvaise chute. La piscine est aussi un peu à l'ombre et non chaufée. Je pense donc qu'il vaut mieux éviter l'hôtel avec des enfants en bas âge qui marchent. Le personnel est adorable, tout à fait aux petits soins. Wifi instable

Very Well Done!
L’Ultimo Mulino is a perfect location for exploring Chianti. The hotel is well managed with courteous, knowledgeable help always available.Dada is a jewel employee and full of smiles, recommendations and overall love of life. Breakfasts were outstanding with very warm, personal service. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and charming. The restoration of this establishment is noteworthy and well done. We ate at their restaurant twice. Nearby Radda is delightful and packed with restaurants, stores, and helpful folks. Once it was great and once not so great. All in all we’d return if in Chianti. .

Tuscany L'Ultimo Mulino
Placed directly in Chianti region, at the castle road of the Tuscany. The hotel has about 12 rooms and seems to be an old mill. Typical looking as all the beautiful houses made out of stone with plants all over and wooden windows. And this is the minus: you need to take some ear protection with you because you will hear your neighbour sneeze. The bed is also very hard. Those are the only things i would complain about. The stuff (Gabriella) is very kind and friendly, the pool clean with 24°C and the cook needs to be praised!! There isnt anything we wouldnt recommend on the menue!! We didnt search for any other possibility to eat at. Also breakfast was good: fresh fruits every day, handmade pie and excellent coffee. We would definitely recommend the hotel
