Dear Carrie and all future guests, First off, thank you again for staying with us. The owners of this home are Premier hosts and constantly receive perfect reviews. We do our best to make the home ready for every guest's stay. But being any home, like yours, things can break in an instant or go out. We also hope that guests report anything to use once noticed so that we can make arrangements to get it fixed during your stay. That way you have the best stay possible. The toilet seat was reported the day you left and was replaced the same day. For the no hot water, while I was in the home hot water was in each sink in the home. For each guest, housekeeping leaves 8 to 10 bath towels in each bathroom, 3 to 4 hand towels, and 14 washcloths. We do offer a washer and dryer so that linens or towels can be laundered during your stay. Housekeeping cleaned the bedspread, and yes should have found that while making the bed, sorry about that. For the recliner and lamp, the recliner is electric and the button is on the side of the seat. The lamp has a floor switch just to the side of the recliner. Both might have been unplugged have been checked and they both do work. The smoke alarms are hardwired in, so they would have with or without the battery. But the battery was replaced and all alarms were checked. Cockroaches in Texas are just here as it can be hot and dry. The home is treated regularly and so this is a rare occurrence for them to be in the house. As we tell each guest. we try to supply everything you may need in the home. We place 5 to 6 trash bags under the kitchen sink for each guest, after that, you would need to call me or purchase your own. Stripping the sheets off of the beds when departing helps housekeeping know which beds have been used. Some guests do make up the beds each day so we want to make sure we don't miss one. As a guest of any home rental property, we always hope for the best stay for each person. But we all must understand that things can happen and as hosts, we want to make whatever the issue is right so you can have the best stay.
