It was quite a good stay. You need to rent room heaters separately. Front desk guys exceptional.

Excellent Hotel at Afforable Price
We chose to stay at The Golden Crest as the reviews and rooms looked good and it was located at s good main location. We had asked for a room decoration and the room was beautifully decorated. Thr staff were very helpful and rooms were superbly comfotable and elegantly furnished. We shifted to the Premium rooms which offered amazing views and were large. Food was tasty and the hotel had lift, power backup , free wifi , buffet breakfast and all services expected of a good hotel, at very affordable rates.MG marg is within 2 km।of the hotel and we got taxis easily from।in front of the hotel round the clock. Recommended !!!!

The bed sheet and especially the bath towels are badly stained with blood and black dirt stains and really look dirty!!

We would have loved it if you had brought the same to notice of our staff during your stay so that the same could be replaced. Very poor, worst ever hotel I have come across
Pathetic room quality - dirty linens, soiled towels, un-cleaned cups, dingy rooms, shabby wall papers and corners..

Poor value for money, highly overrated, 100% no-no
Quite disappointed with the overall value proposition of this hotel for the following reasons: 1. Rooms are dingy and smelly, especially the back facing ones 2. Dirty linen - spotty bed sheets, half cleaned towels 3. Damp and dirty carpet 4. Unwashed cups and saucers 5. Dirty wall papers and room corners 6. Limited breakfast options 7. Rude hotel management

Taking advantage of tourists by overcharging
This is the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Being a Canadian, I checked into the hotel and asked the hotel staff to arrange a cab to Nathula Pass. The hotel staff take advantage of outsiders/tourists by overcharging for all the services. When I confronted them and asked them to match the price they acted rude and asked me to check out of the hotel as I was letting others know of their ponzi scheme. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Hotel is 3 km out side the city area on bypass Rd.
Over all good experience no issues at all Enjoyed our trip to Sikkim Gangtok is the clean city people are disciplined andcooperative.

Dear Guest Thank you for your 4/5 review. However we would like to correct you that the Hotel is very much in the city, in fact almost in the middle of the city , located on main National Highway (not bye pass road) and 2 km from M,G,Marg, the hub of Gangtok Town,
