'This is a great place to stay for the weekend. The location is amazing (you can see glimpses of Lake Michigan out the window) and it was very clean and nice to be in. The ammenities are basic (i.e. think only overhead lighting in the living room, no lamps) and other reviews weren't lying that the couch cushions slide off when you're sitting on them, but overall would recommend this. Owner is super responsive, too.'

'We came to the Market House for our 7 year wedding anniversary. The space was perfect for the two of us. On Saturday we were heading to the Indiana Dunes State Park and walked out to a farmer's market in the parking lot behind the building. We're big hikers so we did the 3 dune challenge, but I saw there was an outlet mall nearby if shopping is more your speed. There's also a tram that runs through the area and into Chicago if you need a day trip to the big city. Easy in, easy out, dedicated...

'Very cozy house that has been updated with all modern conveniences yet still has the beauty and feel of a historical home. Perfect if you will have a vehicle during your stay. The owner was quick to respond and helpful in all our correspondences.'

'Had some trepidations about the neighborhood when I first saw it. However, neighborhood was very pleasant quiet. Apartment was very nice nicely furnished without being cluttered overall very comfortable place to stay. I would definitely consider it again if I come back to Chicago.'

'The place is just as described and kept nice and clean. Communication with the host was good. Parking spot is a must and reasonably priced. In winter time the vent was really loud so be sure to bring some earplugs. Also the bed covers were very thin for the winter. We were worried about too much smell as this is a smoking unit, but it wasn’t too bad at all.'

'Had an amazing time at the loft. It was a great location, place was clean, convenient parking right next store. Plenty of places to eat nearby. It is a must stay if you are in town for an event at the Wintrust, McCormick Place or Soldier Field.'

'We wanted to do some outlet shopping. This lovely old house is right across the street from the mall. It was very clean and well furnished. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood was quiet. We had a lovely weekend.'

'Everything was pretty stellar. Communication. Amenities. Location! All on point. One small thing, which I feel bad for even sharing because I enjoyed communicating with Michelle and enjoying the home.. but there was ants. I had them crawling on me.. while I was on the couch a couple times.. which had me paranoid etc. They ruined the mood a couple times. Their handymen came in and did a treatment for them.. but yeah, still found and killed dozens the day after etc. So yeah, Unfortunately there...

'If you want a place to crash this will work! The outlet mall is definitely walking distance. The beach and many great places to eat are within 5 minutes by car. Be mindful this an apartment type setting so you are going to hear your neighbors. The TV is streaming only so be prepared for that. The host was very responsive.'

'The location is perfect for the McCormick Center. It also is a short walk from VU which a great place for breakfast or an after dinner drink. Views are amazing. Building is secure and the unit great for business travel.'

'This place worked well for a short trip visiting Indiana Dunes. The only issue we had was that the cleaning crew hadn’t come by before we got there, but that was likely just a fluke and the host was very quick to respond when I messaged him about it and had it completely taken care of within an hour. Michigan City is a good location to find nearby restaurants and is just 10 minutes to the eastern side of the National Park.'

'College classmates from Ohio and Wisconsin met after sixty-four years to renew friendship, share memories, cook together, explore dunes and beaches. Weather was April spring--cool but pleasant walking the beaches, exploring dunes, watching white waves, feeling the lake breeze. Michigan City is not just a summer vacation spot! We will come back!'

'This was in a historic building, with secure festures (several locked entrances). It was clearly a renovated factory, with pipes in the ceiling and exposed brick. This added to the charm. We were visting downtown, this rental was a few miles, so we rented bikes and or walked to get places. They included small details, shampoo, hair dryer, even toothbrushes! We enjoyed our stay.'

'Working at the Convention Center all week and location was great. Felt safe and the place is exactly as pictures show. Very clean and would stay again next year'

'We had a great stay! Everything was just as listed! Every area was very clean, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels provided for our 2 night stay. If i could change anything it would have been to add a nightlight of some sort in the twin room. Unfamiliar place/noises and it was completely dark for my daughter. No lamp or nightlight in that room. Also a few of the cabinet doors need tightened down.'
