'The property is in a nice location. It is very close to the beach for great views, and low tide tidal pool exploration. It is also in a convenient proximity to the Redwood forests. We were able to explore the forest as close as 20 minues away, and alo went further along the beautiful highway 101 south for hours of amazing Redwood exploration. We had text and phone contact before the stay with the owners, and they were very nice and helpful with their suggestions for places to see, and what to...

'My family and I traveled to California for a mother’s day trip. This was home was our last stop and by far our favorite. The home was so beautiful and super clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.The host were easily accessible and went the extra mile to help set up a fire to roast some marshmallows! Incredible stay.'

'First off, thank you for welcoming us! The house was cozy and in a great location, and came with lots of little extras that made it more relaxing. The backyard was great, especially if you have pets or little kids. The park is directly across the street which is also very convenient. 'You really need to up date atleast couches and kitchen table chairs ... i could not sit on those couches they sunk in not good for older people in thier 50s .. kitchen table chairs where so short even 6 ft people looked like they needed something under them. You need more bigger bowls . You allow up to 10 people but only have like 1 big bowl to hold food . But the house was very nice with a beautiful view. Was hard to get to beach because you have to climb over a bunch of drift wood and large...

'Terrific location, very quiet, at the end of a small street. Dave and Debbie were always super responsive with any questions we had. Beds were comfortable; the sheets were super soft and there were plenty of light, cotton blankets, for cool nights (with the window open). The layout of the house is excellent - a terrific use of space and 4 adults/children would be very comfortable there. The master bedroom is upstairs and in a "loft", overlooking the living room, so privacy would be minimal...

'Place was well organized, I have a group of friends and we do traveling remote work, convenient to hiking, close to the beach, and everything was as advertised. The trampoline was a hit with the group and 10 of us were comfortable in the house throughout the stay. Furnishing was nice and adequate and in like-new condition. The yard was very well cared for and we got to catch everything in bloom in the spring, spectacular!'

'This was a wonderful house for our large family to stay in while we visited the Brookings area. 4 bedroom, 2 bath with a bonus upstairs family room allowed each person space. The home is still proudly displaying the original decor, but is clean and quaint. Lots of amenities for the guests - high chair, easy access laundry, full pantry of cooking utensils and dishes for 12 or more, large fridge. We will stay again if given the chance!'

'My favorite part was definitely the location where I could see sunset from dining table and walk across the street to the beach. Nice big garage to park vehicle too, as well as driveway parking. Nice little sitting area out front. Older home with darker bedrooms, but just sleeping there anyway. Too many great things to do outdoors! Didn’t cook much, but kitchen seemed well supplied.'

'The cabin description says you will have the entire cabin to yourself but this is extremely inaccurate. Another couple was in a different bedroom and we could hear thim arguing. The property owners live downstairs and we're there the entire time. The was a very strong unpleasant odor and there were cobwebs on the skylights and flies were stuck in them.The bed linens were very old, worn and it felt like we were in someone else's bed. The surrounding were beautiful and the area is away from city...

'We loved our stay. Perfect location for what we needed. We headed into Jedidiah state park for the redwoods. House met all our needs for sleeping the age ranges we had from 12 year old up. Kitchen well stocked for our cooking needs. Loved the ease of checking in/out. Communication with owner couldn’t have been a better experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I found myself back in the area.'

'1. This is camping in the back hills. Worth the trip. It is as advertised. bring your own blankets and food that can be warmed on a wood stove. 2. 'The cabin was the perfect place for our family getaway for the weekend. What a wonderful, comfortable, and peaceful way to spend our time together enjoying the scenery and each other. 'We used the cabin as a launching pad to explore the Redwoods, and its proximity to Stout Grove was wonderful. We filled all 6 available sleeping places as a family. Space was tight but there were many comforts that made the space enjoyable: homemade cookies upon arrival, lots of blankets and extra pillows, and wonderful smelling hand soap in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and Bridget had bottled water in a jug in the fridge, too. A few more mats at the front and back door entrances...
