Goed alternatief
We waren hier een week voor familie bezoek in San Jose. Vriendelijk personeel en dagelijks een verschoonde kamer. Ontbijt tot 9.00 was voor ons soms wat te vroeg ;-). Prima en betaalbaar alternatief voor het dure San Jose (30 minuten rijden). Houdt wel rekening met files richting SJ tot 10.00pm (en weer terug aan eind can de dag) Outlet malls naast de deur. Helaas in Gilroy zelf veel leegstand in de winkelstraat. Vanuit hier ook lekker snel aan het strand in Santa Cruz of het gezellige Monterey

Het grote voordeel van dit motel, het ligt midden in het winkelcentrum. Maar het is oud, de vlieren kraken enorm en het is niet echt schoon.

Goed voor één nacht
Hotels in Monterey waren te duur voor mij en dit was een tussenstop om vanuit Yosemite National Park, via Monterey en Highway 1 naar LA te geraken. Voor één nacht is dit hotel wel ok. Veel outlet winkels rondom, voor wie van shoppen houdt. Let wel: de ochtend na mijn overnachting zag ik een bedwans op mijn lakens kruipen...

Firstly, the front desk person was not there and we had to wait for 30 minutes, while being exhausted. Then, we finally get into our room and the floor is sticky everywhere (clearly had not been cleaned in a while). We had to wear socks the entire time while walking around and they were black after 5 minutes. There were hairs on folded towels that could have been used prior. There were make up marks on the walls, etc. would not recommend this hotel AT ALL COSTS. Go to a Marriott, pay the 60 dollars more. It is worth it.

First room I entered was dirty bed was not made and used towels were on bed along with tissues on floor so I was moved to a second room where the a/c did not work then finally the third room where around five am I met a cockroach in the bathroom

Room smells bad . I guess the smell from the drain in the toilet. Unfriendly receiptionist (night shift guy). I have read some of the bad reviews from others and it is true. It could be one of the worst comfort inn.

Unfortunately this was a horrible stay. The bed was terrible. Hard and you could feel the springs. There was absolutely no water pressure at all to the shower. Was more like a fast trickle. There was only waffle mix left at 8am breakfast and it states breakfast is served till 9am. Good thing there was a Waffle House next door. Police were there at the check out desk when we left. We have no idea what took place we were just happy to leave.

Room was clean and appeared recently remodeled. Great location adjacent to freeway and across from factory outlets. Check-in should have gone smoothly and didn't. Upon entering lobby at 4:15, staff not present. Went to locate and she appeared from rear. Had prepaid for two rooms on my card. Staff said we were listed as two to one room. I explained I had been precharged for two. She alleged again that we were reserved for one room. I showed her my e-mail confirmation for one adult in two rooms. She became defensive and stated that I had not stated that I registered these rooms individualy under two separate names. I stated that the site asked me for the name of each party, for each room, and that I had paid on my credit card. It didn't seem to occur to her to ask how the parties had been registered. She assigned us two rooms on separate floors without asking if we prefered adjacent rooms. She gave us two adjacent rooms upon my request. Upon entering my assigned room, I saw that the former customers had left their clothes and luggage on the bed. My partner called her and the rep asked me to come back to the lobby. I stated no, and to please have the cards delivered to my partners room. Another staff member showed up shortly with cards for another room. She began to leave without taking the cards from the occupied room. Is this the best you can do, Comfort Inn management?
