There was a huge and super comfy sectional sofa and a great fireplace that we made an awesome fire in with the firewood that the hosts left for us. We had a great time hanging out in the house since it rained most of the weekend and was pretty cold. When it did clear up a little, the view from the dock was gorgeous! Had we not had two small children and our dog running...

'Beautiful house and very clean. The house is remote. Would recommend you plan to stay at the home the whole time. The lake is beautiful and private. We suggest bringing your supplies down to the lake so you don’t have to go back up and down the hill from the lake. We did enjoy our stay. We would go back with friends and family.'

The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal. Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.'

We enjoyed the quite and cozy atmosphere of the cottage. It was a comfortable and relaxing place to return to after a day out in town. We even got a visit from a couple of deer during our stay.'
