'The pictures and description are 100% accurate, but being there in person to take in the peaceful surroundings and views of nature with the family was a great experience. The hostess was responsive from the moment we booked and provided all the info we needed to make it to this mountain top cabin on the VA/WV border. 'This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet except for the sound of birds in the woods. The interior of the cabin was clean and well furnished; the bed was especially comfortable. While we didn't make use of the fire pit, the screened porch was our favorite place to sit day or night. Although it might have been too early for them, we felt relaxed on the porch knowing we wouldn't be attacked by mosquitoes or other bugs. It was easy to take our dog out for a walk on the back roads...

'The house was beautiful. There is no turn around in the driveway but it did fit 4 cars. We had to back out but it was not difficult at all. The bedroom in the loft has a door. There are two "windows" that overlook the living room but does not have glass. You could not see in the room from the living room. I would not report this as a negative. We had 5 couples (5 sisters with spouses) and the house was perfect. There was plenty of seating in the living room and also downstairs in the game room....

'The property is very nice and as advertised. Very spacious and in a quiet, remote location. Went hiking nearby one day and just stayed on the property to enjoy the amenities another day. About 20 minutes from town where you can get all your supplies if you're just looking to stay on the property for the stay. Our entire group enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.'

'We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub.
