'This bed and breakfast is run by a lovely young couple who were a delight to talk to. I had numerous questions before we arrived and they were answered promptly. The rooms were clean and charming. The history of the building is fascinating and there was a lot of literature on hand about the area. The breakfast was delicious, a recipe from the owner's grandmother who was also the previous owner. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!'

'My husband and I plus our 4 daughters stayed at this lovely cabin over Easter weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone and the cabin was equipped with anything you might need for a pleasant stay. It is decorated beautifully and very tastefully. A short drive to the local sights in Hot Springs. I highly recommend this property. Thank you John for a lovely weekend!'

'If you want to get away from a busy life, this cabin offers that. On the plus, it has internet and we didn't have much of a problem with Verizon Wireless with our phones. Be sure to bring your groceries; you can find milk and bread nearby. Creek can be fun for ages 8 and up. Fished a little without luck, but we're novices.'

'It was fantastic and we loved to walk in the nature and enjoy the view, the horses were really friendly and the pond near there looked beautiful. The cabin was really cozy and very organized and there were many board games to choose from.Overall it was an amazing trip and I recommend coming here!!'

'We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful riverside property! The views were spectacular and we were able to go fly fishing and birdwatching right outside the front door. We found it odd that the entrance was through the cow pasture (past two gates that needed to be closed each time) rather than the more direct driveway from the main road. Overall, we loved the location and would definitely return to the area in the future.'

great road hotel, will stay again.
"Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super clean and tidy!! Environmentally the breakfast was horrible, only Styrofoam, even melting plates under my toasted bagel, coffee cups melting, cutlery just unusable - please change to paper (recyclables)!? didn't use the gym or pool, but gym looked light and spacious. would stay again!"
