We arrived early, so our rooms where not ready yet. However due to delay in the cleaning the rooms were not ready until after 16:00 hours. Staff at the reception was very forthcoming and arranged drinks while we were waiting.
The hotel site is carved out of a Vulcanic slope, so the “left side” of the hotel looks at a high natural stone wall.
The water of the swimming pool was at a very agreeable temperature, and consisted of a mixture of diluted seawater and normal water. The pool is so constructed that it looks like it seamlessly connects to the ocean.
Service around the pool is excellent, staff not only provisions bath-towels but also regularly cleans the waste bins, so the area is nice and clean all day long. There is a lifeguard until 18:00 PM.
There is an adult-only area we didn’t use, which had two jacuzzies and several two person beds.
Senior staff is been seen checking 2-3 times a week if there are deficiencies in the pool area and also in the hotel area.
The rooms are cleaned every day. We had two very nice rooms at the 6th floor with view at the pool/sea. Only downside was the yacht overhaul workplace, which added a concrete industrial look to an otherwise marvelous view.
One of our rooms had a sliding door slightly ajar, which resulted in a high whistling sound when the wind was blowing at a certain strength and angle.
So if you want a sunbathing holiday while being pampered by a very friendly and helpful staff, I would recommend this hotel 100%
