'Our family of 4 stayed here for the weekend surrounding our daughter's graduation from NCSSM in Morganton. It was fantastic! The views are incredible. This house is 25 minutes up the mountain and it is so worth it. Go slow and enjoy the local flora and fauna. We saw turkeys multiple times, including a family with babies! 'The photos were accurate and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed the fishing and swimming and the house was comfortable for everyone. Really close to the Highway but you can't hear the noise at all. It's definitely secluded which we liked but pretty close to downtown Morganton. Thank you for hosting us!'

'The small town of Valdese is cute and has some great things to see and do but this little bungalow is amazing! All the furnishings and appointments were clean, attractive and uncluttered. Everything felt brand new! Great snacks and water provided as well as thoughtful toiletrie additions in the bathroom. An easy 5star rating for sure!!'

'We had an amazing time at the farm. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We fed the horses, pigs, and donkey carrots. This was the perfect mountain get away for our family. This property is in the middle of so many fun places to visit. Plenty of things to do for everyone in the family. Dara was a gracious host and was easy to get a hold of anytime we needed. We cannot wait to go back for a longer stay!'

'This property is a gem! The house is beautiful and spacious, well supplied with the necessities, and in a wonderful location. The lake access is down a hill so a little challenging for the older members of our group, but the lake is lovely and the private dock is SPECTACULAR. We spent hours and hours out there and would go back in a heartbeat! I definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway'
