Erg leuke omgeving (Chesapeake Bay)
Onze kamer (3 hoog) had uitzicht op de baai, mooi dus. In de buurt zijn er genoeg restaurantjes om lekker te eten. Het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen, maar ach, genoeg mogelijkheden in de directe omgeving. Wel koffie of thee op de kamer. Het sfeertje van Kent Narrows is vrij uniek. Dit hotel gekozen omdat de kamer een balkon heeft en het verder van de snelweg af is dan de andere 2 hotels. Via de Bay bridge ben je na een half uur in Annapolis of rij je in 1 uur naar de buitenwijken van Washington DC. Aldaar kan je met de Metro (Largo) verder en in ongev. 40 minuten sta je in het hart van DC.

We were unable to get to the property because of a 2-3 hour backup on route 50 trying to get over the bridge to the hotel in Kent Narrows due to an accident and flooding. After an 6 hour drive from North Carolina to get within 30 miles of the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island - we just could not wait for traffic to clear. We called the hotel but they told me that they were unwilling to cancel our room or refund our reservation even though we could not get there. Told me room good until noon Monday. Good luck getting here. Please advise. Thsnjs

Staff unkind. Gm the worst I have ever met. I will be write an at length review with pictures. Save yourself a lot of money and go to a friendlier and cleaner property. I recommend the Best Western or the Holiday Inn. Bith are great properties!

We still have not straightened out that I was charged before I came and now you have a pending on my credit card because we had to change the date. Travelocity said I have already paid and that’s it but the hotel has 2 charges pending. We need to get this straightened out!!!

The reason to go to this hotel is the view. We have gone here for years. When you open the blinds with a view of the sun shining off the bay, it's hard to beat without traveling to Florida or the Caribbean. Unfortunately, we had to turn left off the elevator, which I knew immediately was not a bay view. My daughter, who had been so excited to book the trip for us didn't know that "bay-facing" does not mean "bay-front". Tried to change rooms offering to pay the difference and, even though there was obviously about a 10% occupancy rate on Sunday night in early February, 'there was just nothing they could do.' This despite the supposed GUARANTEE posted everywhere that they would make it right if there was anything amiss. Oh well, we figured, at least we can enjoy the hot tub later. Nope, that was apparently removed and now there is just this wonderful table sitting in the spot by the pool. I'm sure we are in the minority that having a table next to the pool is much better than a hot tub! (in case you missed the sarcasm: NOT). Oh well, we figured, at least we'll get to enjoy one of those great cookies that were always offered at the check-in area. Nope, apparently those are also just too customer friendly and have been axed along with the hot tub.

We had a great stay in the junior suite. It was a great size, beds were comfortable and we had a great view of the bay. The breakfast is a bit expensive in my opinion, but overall we had a great stay.

We started out with a room on the south side of the hotel and there is a cute bar on that side, but they were having a Halloween party with live music. I called and asked for a room on the other side of the hotel and was given a great room with a beautiful view. Very satisfied with our stay.

Our stay here at the Hilton Garden was great. The space was beautifully decorated in light calm colors and the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Our room was clean and offered coffee with a Kureg coffee maker, which we really enjoy. They offered breakfast buffet or you can order from a menu. We sat at a table and ordered from the menu. The coffee was excellent, our breakfast was delicious and our waitress was wonderful and attentive. They also serve dinner at this location , which is a great option if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. We loved our stay here and will definitely return.
