'My first VRBO experience was absolutely incredible. We tried to visit here last fall to see the leaves & colors, were unable to get the dates right. This visit was to visit a couple of State Parks in the area--actually visited 4 in 2 days. GMH's 'home' was just as advertised PLUS! It was better then the pictures and descriptions in every respect. One mission was to meet the 'Inkeeper' and we did just that! Speechless is the best way to describe the entire experience. WE WILL RETURN this fall!'

'The home is very quaint. It is a bit noisy on the interior due to the engineered materials used throughout the home. Slightly awkard property lot, with facing the small apartment complex, it makes the back patio and front porch seem less private, also obstructs a partial view. 'Nice location... the description of the house is as per the listing, and we did have a good family time. However, I would recommend better housekeeping since cleanliness was good, and would also recommend changing the main room mattress, since it was not comfortable. Other than that, it is a cute little place!!'

'We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement. 'The property was just as described in listing, and as reviewed by others. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The property managers responded very quickly to our request for a sponge and hose. The house is on the main street (as are almost all of the vacation rentals in town), and after reading reviews, I packed my Loop ear plugs because I’m a light sleeper. I had no trouble sleeping; slept very soundly in fact!'

'We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. 'The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.'

'The cabin is clean and neat. April responded promptly even when contacted late at night. Her directions to the property are crucial, google maps will not bring you the right place. Would definitely recommend for a cozy get away in the mountains.'
