The hotel appeared to be in a strip mall without anything else being open. Restaurant next the the hotel was closed on Sunday as are most of the restaurants other than fast food places on Sunday. THE total ECLIPSE was occurring and the hotel was full. Greenville should have done a better job of overall hospitality on Sunday evening. Even a church could have done a spaghetti dinner! It certainly would have been better than fast food! I also got permission from the desk clerk to participate in a zoom call from 7-9 PM and to use the breakfast room. Part-way through the staff decided to clean the room and speak very loudly.

I booked this hotel to be closed to my mother to help with my grand father’s funeral. I thought it was gonna be nice until my husband found a bedbug on the pillow. A freaking bed bug! The worst part is the room we got was a double queen and my boys slept in the other bed. I had my husband put it in a baggy ALIVE. I was furious!!!! Who wouldn’t be? That is a disgusting bug and I am sure there’s more and I’m sure it’s an expensive problem to get rid of and a hard one if that. Take care of your hotel! I don’t plan on bringing bugs home with me and to my home! I brought the alive bug to the counter told her about it and handed it to her. I heard no apologies and nobody cared enough to speak to me and no manager! My husband asked they are just okay with it? Obviously! Anyone with sense would have been embarrassed! I’m not usually an angry person but I came here to plan a funeral not to possibly bring bed bugs home! The fact nobody cared bothers me more. I definitely do not recommend this hotel! Unprofessional and disgusting! Take care of your family and go elsewhere!

They turned the water off for several hours. And then they were doing construction all day. I work nights, and it was noisy. It’s in a remote area of town. But food is only 5 mins away.

It is a good night's stay for the price. The bed was comfy. The breakfast met our needs. We really appreciate a place that welcomes our dog too! The shower was pretty pitiful and please fix your ice maker! It has been broken for over a month now.

Good location
The hotel was mostly clean and the bedding was comfortable. Overall in an older, run down condition. The window had a few big cracks. Lacking directional signs inside. The breakfast was very poor, with premade sandwiches that I threw away. The toast and yogurt worked for breakfast. They did have fresh apples and bananas. The location was great, and the reason I stayed there.

I needed a place to sleep for the night. Stayed at a Motel 6 for an hour. That’s when I realized the room was infested with bed bugs. Drove 45 minutes to Baymont in Greenville and booked a room whilst sitting in the parking lot. It’s cheaper that way 😉 I went inside to check in and the woman at the desk told me I had to pay a $100 dollar deposit. I said I didn’t notice that on the website, but whatever, I need a room. Also, the woman checking in, prior to my arrival, was not charged this deposit. The desk clerk informed me that there was nothing she could do, as the system wouldn’t allow her to bypass it 🙄 At any rate, I stayed the night, and everything was top notch, as far as comfort, cleanliness, etc. The staff was nice, except for the condescending vibe I caught from the first woman. The next day I got a notification from my bank saying there was another 100 transaction. Watch your back. And your wallet.

Front desk is as not very respectful, and could hardly understand. Mold from water in bathroom, wall damage around AC, one of the door locks didn’t work.

Front desk sleeping
When checking out, after breakfast with not so many options, there was a paper that said the front desk would be back in five minutes. I waited (longer than five minutes), until another customer came up and screamed to the back. The employee was sleeping in the back room.

I would stay there again.
The shower needed some serious deep cleaning but outside of that everything was good. The room was clean, the halls were clean and the staff was very kind and friendly. I would stay there again.
