Très bon séjour, accueil agréable. Nous avons récupéré notre chambre 2 heures avant le check in. Parking vers l'hôtel très pratique. SPA très agréable. Chambre pour 3 correcte dans le style suisse avec lits confortables.

Awful stay due to group of guests partying upstair
Booked this hotel for a romantic trip with my wife but a group of kids had booked a few rooms and decided to have a party in the room upstairs until 1:30am… Nightmare! Mentioned this to the hotel staff in the morning but they did nothing but offering a 3 Fr mustard as compensation (there was noone at reception from 10pm so nobody could have got the party to stop). Terrible place, noisy, awful service, one of our most terrible stays ever…

Joli hôtel mais mal insonorisé
Le personnel est accueillant, la chambre avait une très belle vue et était propre. Salle de bains avec baignoire, c'est top. Le petit-déjeuner est un peu cher mais copieux et très bon. Le point négatif a été le bruit, c'est mal insonorisé et n'avons pas dormi tranquille. Dommage.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice just too small even for one person. I ate at their restaurant both nights i was there just because the fondue was excellent and the service was fast. The hotel is located right next to the entrance to the old city and also right next to the bus stop. If you go there by train, like me, dont walk if you have luggage, it's all uphill. There is a bus that takes you from the train station to the Gruyeres ville, one stop.

The location was excellent, close to the old village, but quiet and separate. The staff were kind and accommodating. The room and bed were a bit small, but the overall experience was very good.

Gruyeres is an amazingly beautiful area. We understood the age of the hotel might prohibit Air Conditioning but it was OK. The help up front was new, I'm hoping all the figures are correct with the reservation! Such a beautiful city and valley!

Veldig trivelig hotell.
Koselig hotell med flott utsikt. Vi kom tidlig og fikk god parkering like ved siden av inngangsdøren. Veldig hyggelige ansatte.

Be aware that if you book a "Standard" room, you are on the ground floor, facing the walk way, where everyone is passing and can look into your room (if windows open, what I always have". Lady from reception said, that this is the way it is and that the hotel is going to be renovated soon and then all rooms will be nicer. Furniture quiet dated. Could though be also cozy. Breakfast: served until 10 am. But they stopped filling up the plates about 20-30 minutes before. We even had to ask for cups and glasses. This for CHF 20.- per person. Everyone was nice, but no one seems to really care. Sad experience.

Great Place to Say in Gruyeres
This is our 3rd time staying here and we love it. We had a room with a balcony facing the meadows and mountains and loved it. The location and convenience cannot be beat. We hope to return soon and highly recommend this hotel.

Wunderbar gelegen, gleich beim Eingang des Dörfchens. Je nach Ort gibt es eine schöne Aussicht. Sehr freundliches Personal!!! Alles etwas "alt", aber gemütlich und sauber. Würde jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

Great location for Gruyères and getting the bus to / from other places. Hotel and rooms clean and tidy but a little dated, this can add to the charm of the whole area though. Amazing views across the mountains from our room. Staff friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I loved this hotel. The view from the bedroom balcony, restaurant and breakfast room are just beautiful! - we could see the chateau, church steeple, mountains, fields and a herd of deer from there! We loved the rustic feel of the hotel. The food and the wait service were fantastic, and the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful! The restaurant is known for its outstanding fondue made with local ingredients. The hotel is literally 1/2 block from the entrance to the village of Gruyères, a small gem of a town that sits up high on the hilltop. This is a very special place and hotel! :)
