A beautiful and small country hotel. Nothing corporate about this little gem. Lovely clean simple room, modern shower room, comfy bed, and suprise surprise, even a fridge and kettle. Lovely selection at breakfast. Easy and safe parking. Very pretty spot with olive trees and surrounded by hills. Thankyou a great spot

Local muito bonito, sossegado, boas instalações, pequeno almoço notável, farto, staff muito atencioso, Patrícia foi uma ótima anfitriã o único senão é que a limpeza e arrumação não é diária como indica o site do Hotéis.com e de noite não tem nenhuma opção no local para comer, tivemos que nos deslocar a noite até a Guarda ( 7,5 km) para comer algo o que para nós foi um grande incômodo além do risco de dirigir a noite em estrada de serra e acesso estreito sem iluminação até a quinta.

Gostei de tudo, desde a natureza à simpatia da Patrícia. Todo o espaço é fantástico. Só tenho pena de ter ficado só uma noite. Será uma experiência a repetir.

This is a lovely place to stay Off the beaten track. The property is clean and pleasant with a load of facilities. The breakfast was great. The nearest restaurant is a few miles away. There is , however , a menu for a local restaurant that will deliver meals. Make sure you read the emails as the place inst always staffed and the instructions on how to get into the property and room are in the email

This place is absolutely gorgeous.. It is a old farm transformed in a lovely hotel with beautiful details everywhere. We where the only one that night and it seemed that we where the king of the castle. Patricia the owner made a fire for us and a delicious breakfast. She was so nice and very happy to share her experience. The best place for us during our stay.

What a find! Great stopover entering Portugal after a long drive. Patricia goes to a lot of trouble with the breakfast and is an excellent host. Typical, traditional Portugal at its best!

Family bungalow mountain view is a wooden shed.
We were a bit shocked to find the "bungalow" little more than a wooden shed. There is no photo on the Hotel.com site of this bungalow and I booked it because it appeared to be the only option with a queen bed. I had thought it would be the same as the other "family bungalow" is built in the same stone as the other buildings only smaller, so I booked it with that assumption. Is this why there are no photos of the family bungalow, mountain view shown on the site? Patricia was lovely, the rest of the facility was also lovely, but not happy with the bungalow shed.

A beautifully renovated farmhouse not too far from Guarda. The proprietor spoke very good English and was proud to give us a tour of this farmhouse that was his grandfather's. The room was very comfortable and had a terrace overlooking the fields.

Descanso na Natureza com requinte e conforto
Fiquei alojado na Casa do Lago Esta pequena casa, fronteira ao edificio principal da Quinta do Quinto, permite o alojamento de uma família. Dispõe de Sala (Fantástica), com um sofa cama, uma cozinha completa e uma casa de banho. A sala dá acesso por escada para um quarto com WC no piso superior. Em redor, temos espaço, serenidade, fantásticas vistas e um lago com alpendre, que à noite permite um ambiente romântico e durante o dia pode-se descansar em cama de rede. O conforto e qualidade está presente e torna a estadia irrepreensível! O pequeno almoço é um verdadeiro teste sensorial de produtos da região, alguns caseiros (compotas, fruta e sumos) que fazem jus à expetativa de quem fica numa casa com atributos já referidos. As zonas comuns, são agradáveis e cómodas, com charme e bom gosto. Fantástica piscina. Bar Zona de jogos. Tudo isto é muito bom, mas completa-se com mais 3 fatores decisivos: 1) A Natureza envolvente é fantástica e permite verdadeiro descanso! 2) Simpatia e profissionalismo dos proprietários, que tornam a experiência de aqui ficar, próxima de fazer sentir os seus hóspedes em sua própria casa. 3) Número limitado de quartos, torna o espaço ainda mais cosy | friendly! Home in the country
While challenging to find, once there I was transported to another world. The host couldn't have been nicer. Proud to show me the place (a family owned residence for over a hundred years). The "farmhouse" was impeccable. Anyone who loves nature will be taken by this location.
