The hotel in isolation would have been an average Holiday Inn Express, however as a woman traveling alone it was a little unsettling with number of 18 wheelers staying there. There was also a 1970s style run down motel sharing the same parking lot with people laying all around the property. This combination doesn’t make it feel safe for a family hotel - find alternative places!!!

Lady at checkin was kind. Had to wait 10 minutes for luggage cart. The parking lot, road, environment, etc was terrible. Not a safe place for property or guests. Smoke shop, marijuana store and homeless shelter greet the guests in your parking lot. Broken down cars and trucks took up space. Seriously, your renovated hotel lacks security and that does not make me want to return to Holiday Inn.

This is the first time we’ve stayed here in a few years. It had gotten run down but now everything is remodeled and great. Wonderful bedding and breakfast. We will be back. I hope management is still negotiating with the painting contractor as they really did a poor job, especially around the shower enclosure in rm 205.

Best hotel stay by far
The room was a family suite which had recently been remodeled. The room was big, clean and nicely appointed. The girls enjoyed the big tvs in each room. Everything was clean and well done! The breakfast room was very clean and the food was very good, lots of variety! The staff was polite and helpful. On our next trip through we will definitely be rebooking with this hotel!!

Great Customer Service.
We are always looking for a local place to eat when we are traveling. The gentleman at the front desk told us of a good place. WOW If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Guthrie OK ask the front desk for directions to Staples. You will be disappointed in either you stay at the hotel or the food.

Unfortunately upon arriving, I was given the key to a room that a family was already staying in (thank goodness they weren’t in when I opened the door). I was then given another room which looked like it had not been cleaned since the last guest checked out. The front desk attendant helping me out that night was very kind and apologetic about the whole thing. On the third try, he went to check the room himself beforehand, so it worked out in the end. It seems to have been some errors in the system which I can’t be mad at, but the whole ordeal was quite irritating and tiring. The new attendant the next morning was great as well, she helped me find something I lost. Overall, it seems that the staff are doing fine but maybe the system/facilities are lacking.

Overall it was a good hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were no vending machines. It looked like there was some remodeling going on in the lobby that was not mentioned when we booked.

The breakfast was good, the property was newly renovated and it looked great. The only thing that I didn’t like was our bathroom wasn’t completely clean, I found hairs inside sink and floor.

The staff was very accommodating and thorough. The room was comfortable and clean. I witnessed some renovations being done which was a good sign to me. You seem to be in the process of keeping the rooms upgraded. Access to the building is a little odd, but not much of a problem. I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying at this location in the future.

It is very close to the interstate. The elevator was making strange noises and I felt is was very sketchy. The lock on the door was missing a screw and the others were lose. There was a screw almost completely out that holds the handle on for the shower. There was one that was completely missing so it only had one holding it in. For breakfast I couldn’t get any milk or a hard boiled egg cause the door was locked. I told the staff and nobody unlocked it. I won’t be staying here again.

Hi!The elevator goes thru city/state inspection and I assure you it is in good working order.! I do apologize for the maintenance issues, the entire hotel received a brand new renovation few months ago and we will continue to work on improving the hotel.
