Large space, nice area
This was the 2nd time we stayed at this resort but the first time we had a complete house with a pool. That was very nice. We enjoyed our stay in the villa. It was nice and clean and everything we needed was there. Although we thougt that the furniture , accessoires and the beds could use an update. We didn't slept very good in the beds, that been said, our stay was overall very nice and we would recomment staying in Villa Bonita

Leider war der Eiswürfel Macher im Kühlschrank so langsam das man Eiswürfel kaufen musste, die Bettwäsche in den einen Schlafzimmer waren dreckig die mußten wir erstmal waschen. Der Teppich im Wohnzimmer so wie die Sessel waren sehr abgewohnt.

Very nice property
The house was very clean. My family loved the pool. We also felt very safe knowing it was a gated community with security. Also location was great - Walmart right around the corner. It did get very hot at night as the air had to be set at 75 and there were no ceiling fans. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Long awaited stay Home away from Home
Having delayed my small families vacation due to Covid for 2 years, finally arriving at “Villa Bonita” was everything it promised. Beautifully set out it provided the perfect base from which to explore all that Florida has to offer. From very comfortable beds, to a well set out and provided for kitchen, to the chance to relax in the pool area on some lovely reclining chairs, the villa really did enhance the vacation and help us feel relaxed and refreshed. Most definitely a ‘Home from Home’.

Nice house but needs improvement
The property overall was great. Mostly nice and clean inside and out. It could be updated a bit, especially in the bathrooms where the sinks were rusty and toilets are very small and old. The rooms are nice, however, please please consider upgrading the mattresses. They are extremely worn out and squeaky. Pros: Nice neighborhood, great golf course, food locations all around, and Walmart is literally right around the corner. Cons: The owner controls the AC making it very hot inside the house. You’re not allowed to set the temperature less than 75 degrees which in Florida is not good given the heat outside. It was so hot at night that we literally slept with almost no clothes on. When you try to lower the air to 72, the owner will email you about the temperature being too low. Also, he states that the travel to Disney World is 23 minutes & it’s not accurate. If he google mapped it at the time with absolutely no traffic like 3am, then maybe. The reality is that It takes almost 45 minutes with the worst traffic I have ever seen on I-4 which we set our timers just to make sure. We almost didn’t make it to the opening 50th celebration ceremony because of this as well. Going there and back is a nightmare. The pool was also really filthy. Grass, debris and dirt are on the bottom of the pool, so we couldn’t even use it during our stay there which we had planned on doing. By the time the owner could send someone out, it was going to be for the day of checkout. The price was great but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. We hope the owners take these things into consideration because this property has so much potential.

Dear Alberto, I do not want to go into the defense but mentioning that we are controlling the AC is something that is not true. Our guide that I send to my guests states the following. Air-conditioning The air-conditioning thermostat is set in such a way that inside the temperature will be 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Setting the air-conditioning lower will make you feel uncomfortable inside the home because of the great difference between the temperature outside and inside the home. Setting the air-conditioning to low may also cause the air-conditioning to freeze up. You will be without air-conditioning for a couple of days. Not to mention the cost involved. Please leave the “fan” of the thermostat of the air-conditioning/heating thermostat at "auto". In the winter- on colder days- you may change the “system” from “cool” to “heat”. The heat thermostat is set at 68 degrees. About the pool, you asked me if the pool heater could be switched on. The same day you asked our pool man did switch it on. The evening before you left you did send me pictures how the pool looked. Again an immediate reaction. During your stay we did not hear anything about the condition of the pool. It is maintained on a weekly basis. About Disney, you probable did not take the first exit to Disney. When we mention the time to reach Disney is 25 minutes we assume that the guests will not stay on the I-4 to long and takes the first exit to Disney. On the I-4 you have the traffic jams. The time to reach Disney is also mentioned in reviews.

Nice place with a reasonable price.
Wilhelm was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to emails. House is spacious, definitely big enough for 6-8 people. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans etc. The pool is large and deep enough for adults but shallow end is nice for younger kids. Yes, it is heated and in January it's definitely a must, although we had temperature in the 80s a couple days of out stay. Haines City is no Miami, and we saw some rough neighborhoods, but the Villa is located in a very nice, well kept and safe gated community. We definitely felt safe enough to take a long late-night walk. Overall our whole group was happy with the house and Florida getaway itself. I'd recommend the Villa to anyone looking for a nice place and not wanting to break the bank.

Perfect Mother Daughter getaway
My mom and I chose to stay a week at this beautiful home to replace our cruise that was cancelled. We spent everyday in the pool and relaxing on the comfortable couches when it rained. We had one minor issue with a cracked toilet seat upon our arrival, but I notified the owner on Sunday and it was replaced right away Monday. Great house that would comfortably fit a family of 6, but mom and I enjoyed the house to ourselves.

Nice house with swimming pool
I enjoyed having a private swimming pool and use of the home. When I checked in there was no multipurpose spray or antibacterial soap, absolutely nothing to clean or kill germs. There where no paper towels or trash bags. Basically there was nothing. No coffee, no toilet paper, no shampoo. I had to interrupt my vacation going to and from store to buy these things.

In our "guide for our home" , every guest receives the guide twice, is written I quote: . For safety reasons, we do not have dish washing liquid, dishwasher’s detergent, laundry detergent, glass/tile cleaning liquids in the kitchen cabinets. Nor will you find coffee, tea, sugar, salt for hygiene reasons. It is possible to have these items in the villa on your arrival day. You have to ask for a welcome package; of course this will cost a certain amount of money depending of the content and the cost of labor. We do not recommend a welcome package because a super Wal-Mart and a Winn Dixie are located just outside the gate. It is a choice of the guests if they want a welcome package or not. In our Villa Bonita we have soap and toilet paper for the first days of your stay.

Southern Dunes is a very nice location in Haines City, central Florida, and the home we retained through VRBO was very comfortable. There is a golf course and clubhouse on the premises you can use. The owner was easy to work with. We plan to return next year.

Villa Bonita situated in beautiful Southern Dunes is a well maintained, clean, bright and roomy home which met all our expectations. Perfect place to stay if you're going to Legoland
House was perfect for our family vacation to LegoLand! My only regret is we should of stayed longer! It was very clean with all the necessities! Heated pool made for a very enjoyable evening. Arrived early and owner was very accommodating.

we stayed here from Dec 5th thru Dec 11th there were 6 of us that enjoyed the stay, everything was nice and clean, there were plenty of towels and extra sheets for the kids, beds were comfortable and while we only used the pool one time , the kids loved it.! it was nice to have a full kitchen everything we needed was there, the washer and dryer were an added bonus the bathrooms were spacious plenty of storage , only thing I wished we had was a hair dryer, but we were close to Walmart and just purchased one, the neighbors were friendly, we had no problems except weren't sure where the recycle can was to put out, as the guide to the house was a bit confusing. it wasn't where the trash can was, , but called the property manager ,got an immediate response , we would definitely stay here again

My family and i stayed at this property for a weekend and we absolutely loved it, the house is really well kept, clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. It has most of the things you need to make your stay easy. Quite and clean neighborhood. At the beginning it seemed a little far from the parks and tourist attractions but Not at all it was 25-30 minutes away and the best of all is the location of this property with lots of shopping centers and restaurants in less then 3 mins within reach!!!! I would definitely book this property again and I truly recommend it. The manager Mr. Wilhelm was very nice and helpful. 5 stars

Fit our every need!
We really enjoyed staying at the villa Bonita! Thank you so much for allowing us to check in earlier than the expected time. Our kids loved the pool! The house is very open, spacious, and clean! Legoland was 20 min away and all our grocery needs are few min away. So convenient.

Very relaxing a home away from home.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is very centrally located to everything you could need. Our only concerns were that there was no measuring spoons, only two measuring cups, over 8 burnt out lights, and the pool had metal debris in it. All small things that we were able to work around. We would rent again and not think twice about it.

We rented this home at 2288 Mallory Circle in Haines City. The home is what you would want for your own. The pool was heated. Perfect Vacation. The only thing I would have liked at this home would be a electric mixer, more bowls for serving meals and ceiling fans would be an added plus. VILLA BONITA IS EXCEPTIONAL
I stayed with my son and his family at Villa Bonita for two nights. The home is just as the pictures show and was a delight! My grandchildren enjoyed the pool. We took advantage of the washer/dryer on premises for the kids clothes. The property located at Southern Dunes felt safe and secure.. Excellent location for our trip to Legoland! My granddaughter left her favorite stuffed animal and we didn't realize until we arrived home. The owner, W.Kuster was kind and understanding. His assistant was able to send it back much to my granddaughter's joy. On our next trip to Legoland, we will be sure to stay at Villa Bonita again.

Thanksgiving Vacation 2017
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Bonita, the lanai and pool were our favorite part. We really enjoyed swimming in November. Our cat enjoyed the outside area, he's an indoor cat at home. The house was equipped well for what we needed except I couldn't find a hair dryer (which I thought it said there was one) and there were no ceiling fans (which we are spoiled to at home). It was convenient to every where we wanted to go and we would definitely rent again if we needed a house to rent. Thank you for replying when I had questions. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving in Florida.

Awesome family vacation!
Our family of 5; 2 adults, 3 children and our dog, enjoyed 6 wonderful nights in this villa. The home is very comfortable with all of the practical amenities. After spending a busy morning/afternoon at the Disney parks, it was nice to come "home" and relax by the pool. The home is conveniently located to all of the parks and many stores.

Another great stay!
We spent another great week at Villa Bonita in December. This was our second annual trip to the Orlando area for a dog show at OCCC. Villa Bonita was a great place to unwind after busy days showing dogs. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. We had one minor maintenance issue and the property manager was at our door within 10 mins. to address it. Loved having all the restaurants close by and also Walmart for groceries. The pool was great, the neighborhood was peaceful and the weather was perfect!

Great Thanksgiving Stay
We stayed at Villa Bonita for a quick Thanksgiving/Birthday trip to Disney. The house was extremely clean and very comfortable for my little family. We had everything we needed and Walmart is a quick walk or drive down the street. The house even had little bars of soap and toilet paper, which is really nice because a lot of rentals we've stayed at usually don't have these things when we first arrive. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was lovely and my 3 year old daughter really enjoyed it. Disney was about a 20 minute drive away, which wasn't bad at all. The owner answered all of my questions very quickly and was very pleasant to work with. We very much enjoyed our stay, I only wish we could have stayed longer! We will keep this villa on our list the next time we make a trip to Disney.

Nice and clean
We enjoyed the house very much. The bedrooms all had nice clean bedding and the kitchen had dishes to use during our stay. We have stayed at other houses and this one had a good stock of towels to use which was a big plus for us since we love the pool. If this house is available for next trip to Legoland we will try to rent it. Hope this review helps
