'My family of 4 enjoyed this quaint house during our stay in the mountains. Our only complaint was we couldn’t stay longer! The narrow roads in the neighborhood made my husband a little nervous, but thankfully we never met anyone on the road. Loved the view from the deck and the two living spaces.'

'The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful nature all around. The house was very clean, had all the amenities of home (tv in each bedroom and living room!), and was very cozy. 'Just back from a spring getaway to beautiful Roan Mountain. This was our second stay at Kim and Art's lovely mountain cottage. Had a great time hiking with our dogs, who loved being off leash at the property. The cottage is clean, cozy and artfully decorated. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit!'

'There was hair in the shower and sink. The shower liners looked dirty and much to long and hanging in the dirty water. Trash was left in the downstairs. There was no toilet paper, trash can liners, or soap for the shower. Multiple obvious mouse traps left the feeling there was a mouse problem that we may encounter- which we did not. '

'We spent the week hiking along the Appalachian Trail. The house was located close to any number of hiking trails and plenty of great restaurants at the end of the day. Johnson City was a delight. We would strongly recommend the Crooked Carriage House.'

'Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!'
