'The host was in touch with us right away to ensure everything was perfect. It was. The neighborhood was quiet and had a great yard to let our dog get out and play. It was also easy to get to all the attractions and restaurants we wanted to. It’s a smaller home but still fit all the needs of our family of 5. It was priced great and just what we wanted. '

'We travelled to Beech Mountain for the Land of Oz Festival. It was a 10 minute drive from the property to the festival, near many restaurants and located near hiking and biking trails. The hot tub was a welcome luxury after hiking and felt great for our tired joints. Kitchen well stocked, clean and fireplaces in living room and bedroom. Highly recommend!'

'This home was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case, but certainly was here. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood as well. Many rentals up here do not have A/C, but due to the unusually high humidity this weekend, we were definitely glad this one did. Simply loved everything about this rental. Next time we are in the area, we will check the availability here first. Thanks for a great weekend!!!'

'I am an avid fisherman and the weekend forecast for Lake Holston October 11-13th was awesome - I booked this last minute and could not be happier ! The home is everything you see with an expansive view down the hill from the rear porch to a wooded area. Minutes from Painter Creek Marina. And I am now a Nespresso fan !'

It took us a bit to figure out on the gate for the gated community you need to push # before the entrance code got the gate to open. I would have given a 5 over all except at checkout. 'We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that! For anyone very overweight or with bad knees, I would suggest you enter that room using the outside stairs from the deck and avoid the staircase. Despite...
