'It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. 'We really enjoyed staying here for the eclipse weekend. The host, Elizabeth, was so helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was spotless just the right size. There were so many extra little touches that made the stay memorable: an extra toothbrush when I realized I forgot mine, a welcome bag with snacks, as well a filled fridge and cupboards, and even starter wood and lighter for the firepit. We would definitely recommend. Fred was very quiet and stood guard in the br all night so...

The location right on the shore was exactly what we wanted but I wish we could have walked further on the shore in each direction. The fire ring was great in the evenings. 'Neat little place, close to everything. There is a small issue of tiny ants in kitchen...Parked in driveway, but could have used the garage if we wanted. Neighborhood nice, all well kept homes. Very old house that makes it charming.'
