'My wife and I enjoyed a weekend stay at Twisted River Ranch, during a visit of the local covered bridges and the downtown Eugene area. The cottage was charming, but the real star of the visit was the beautiful farm with gorgeous pond , gardens,barns, pastures and extensive wildlife. A visit highlight was sitting by the pond early Sunday morning, so peaceful. The proprietor, Dianne was a pleasure to visit with and was very attentive in assuring that any needs were met. The owners were dog friendly, the small yard fully fenced and my Aussie had a wonderful time. As a dog owner I also made sure that I had multiple covers for furniture and bed. Communication was wonderful especially since there was a horrible storm knocking power out and knocking trees down just days before our arrival. Adam personally called and advised of the storm and wanted to let us know. We appreciated that as we were traveling from 8 hours away for a family funeral.
