Steps from a beautiful, quiet beach- amazing! Property nice. No shampoo, only 1 bar of soap & not enough toilet paper for 5 nights. Good communication with property manager before stay, but not responsive during stay. Step by step check in instructions very helpful. Unit in good condition. Property a little “grimy”, but overall a great experience!

Relaxing getaway
The location is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The building is undergoing renovations so there was some construction noise during the week but we were mostly out and about during the day so it wasn’t too bad. The condo itself was equipped for a pleasant stay, allowing us to prepare our own meals when we wanted to and get some laundry done before we left. The bed was comfortable.

Great quiet spot
We really loved staying at this place. Although the building was under construction, the unit itself was beautifully maintained, clean, and the beds (including the sofa bed) were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and make breakfast. The beach in front of the property is beautiful and very quiet. I think that if we had planned to stay on the property all day the construction noise would have bothered us, however, we used this space more as a home base and were gone during construction times. By the time we would return in the late afternoon the crew would be gone and we could enjoy some peaceful time on the beach. There were many other families staying there as well which gave this a really nice vibe. I highly recommend!

Very clean unit and centrally located on the east side of the island. Kitchen was well equipped. Only drawbacks were the repair work on the building, which the owner informed me of before my trip, and the non working window in the bedroom which, if opened, could have provided a much appreciated cross breeze through the unit.

Perfect Place for Us
The condo was perfect! One large bedroom, nice kitchen area for preparing meals, nice living room, and perfect lanai for watching the sunrise. Currently doing exterior building remodeling Monday thru Friday but it did not diminish our experience. Snorkeling infinity of the condo was great! We saw 2 turtles on the beach and many types of fish while snorkeling. Is a small drive to different activities but very quiet and the 100 foot walk to the private beach was wonderful. The owner was incredible ! Can’t say enough about her. She knows some neat places to visit. We definitely will stay here the next time we visit.

Views were amazing. Ocean in front, mountains in back. Location is great for north shore, a bit far for south and west. The complex seems like a very social place, with family and friend groups gathering on the lawn and watching the turtles in the evening. Condo was clean, well stocked, and we loved having laundry in suite. There is some road noise in the bedroom, but the view off the lanai more than compensates for it. There is a large exterior renovation project taking place, but we appreciated the discounted rates and the advance notice the owner gave us. She was great to communicate with and provided excellent information about driving directions and stuff in the area.

We were very happy with this property. We did not wish to stay in the hustle bustle of Waikiki, and this was perfect. The ocean just feet away, the beach clean and sea turtles swimming by. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at Betty's place. Comfortable, clean, great decor. Such a view to have with morning coffee. Sofa bed was very comfy for my adult son. Good place to launch from for various activities around the island that is more home like than hotel like. Very enjoyable stay.

The perfect relaxing hawaii stay
My wife and i celebrated our ten year anniversary at Pat's place on Oahu. The location was perfect, i couldnt say enough about it. The beach is private and probably at least 1/4 mile long, the lawn is immaculate and quiet, the gym has free weights including an olympic bar bell and a great pull up bar (this was a big deal for us, usually the gym areas are just machines), the condo itself has cieling fans everywhere so the lack of central cooling was not as noticeable as i thought it would be. We could hear the construction during the day but it turned out to be fine. My only critique is the brightness of the master bedroom at night, and the heat in that room. To maintain a breeze we had to keep the window open, and since that opens to the outside entry way where the lights are always on, it was bright. If you close it, its still too bright and quite warm. We ended up covering the window with a sheet while keeping it partly open, and using ear plugs and eye masks, and with some added melatonin this worked well. Its 5 miles to the grocery store, there are a few small shops nearby, however the food trucks close between 4 and 5pm, which was suprising. Farther north we found everything we needed. The condo was well stocked with books and after a while we figured out the tv (use the tubi app to watch most things, it worked the best). We loved this location and would absolutely come again!

Perfect View!
I have stayed at condos within this complex over the years, and this one has a perfect view of the ocean! I love the fact that it is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. Betty was the perfect host! She gave EXCELLENT tips and directions to different points of interest in the area and around the island. The condo itself was great for a solo traveler like me. It was comfortable, and even came with items to take to the beach! I found the beach towels and chair to come in handy as I visited several beaches on the North Shore. Overall, I would definitely return to stay at this condo. Now I can see why I could barely get a booking! Thank you, Betty, for providing us travelers with a great place to call home, even for a short while! Blessings to you and yours!

Loved the private beach, quiet atmosphere, turtle sightings. The condo complex overall was undergoing renovations, which we knew in advance, and it was really minimally invasive. Pool access was quite limited. The individual condo was pleasant but could use a bit of updates. A keurig would be awesome because a French press is not my forte, and a carafe of coffee doesn’t allow for individual preferences. The only thing I would really want different is the beach chairs, they could use cleaning/updating. Would definitely come back here again.

Really good value—that is, the entire facility has a wonderful location, right on the beach with decent snorkeling just steps away. But overall the place is rather “tired”—showing it’s age. And this is probably reflected in the price. We had a great stay.

This was a great place to stay as there are many beautiful beaches and sites on this side of the island and close to the north shore. The owner was very responsive with any needs and questions. Affordable place in a more remote location away from crowds and busy-Ness. The bedroom was hot but sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living room was very pleasant. The property is under construction but we were gone during the day and we're not bothered by it. Quiet I evenings and on weekends. Overall a great place!

Nice Condo Ia A Mess Of A Building
We were seriously disappointed with the misleading description aabout the condition of the building. First off, the condo itself is very nice, spacious, clean, well appointed, and of course a great ocean view. The owner was great with communication, kind, and took care of some minor problems upon arrival, HOWEVER the host building is a construction zone nightmare. The entire front of the property is torn up with piles of construction materials, giving it a very gross & dirty feel, often stinking of sewage. The elevator was plywood & duct tape. The entire east end of the grounds was blocked with orange construction barriers, destroying any resort feel. Chunks of missing concrete, peeling paint & rust all over. I mainly booked this property for the uniqueness of an oceanside pool & guess what... the pool was closed the entire trip. I feel angered and misled about the lack of an honest description about the condition of the property as it currently is. When the building is finished, this would be a nice place to stay with a 4 star rating, but now, I'd stay away.

We were happy with condo beautiful view of beach and ocean. The only thing missing was some tea towels for drying dishes had to use paper towels. Only the 2 of us so we didn’t use the dish washer. Had trouble with wifi for the first couple days the wifi password you sent us did not work on my iPhone. The one from the modem worked but didn’t try it until day 3. Overall the place was excellent

Beautiful beach, most days we had it all to ourselves. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Bring snorkeling gear so you can see the turtles and tropical fish. If you are not an early riser, the roosters are happy to wake you up. Traffic can be a challenge so give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to be. A rental car is a necessity. Just a reminder, this unit does not have a/c, but does have ceiling fans and a beach breeze.

Construction noise and smell!
Failing sewage treatment made the front of the building reek while the drilling for a new system made days of a loud whining really fun. Oh, and did I mention the sand blasting of the building on the beach side of the building? Bad timing on our part. No access to pool or bbq area due to work above. We were left one roll of TP for a week and the info for the wi-if was wrong. all in all not great.

We had a very nice stay at this property. The only knock I would give is that there was construction all over the place on the property. Nothing the owner could control but it took away from the ambiance a bit. The pool was closed during the day during construction hours and the designated parking spot was sometimes difficult to back out of due to large construction trucks. Other than that, we enjoyed the place and our time on Oahu.

Beach side with Turtles
The property was what we expected. Right on the beach in a rural area of the island. The property was older and had significant maintenance repairs in progress, which was communicated to us in the listing. We spent most of our days touring the island so the construction noise didn't bother us. The semi-private beach where the property was located has sea turtles coming to rest before sunrise every, which we very much enjoyed. The unit kitchen facilities were outdated but clean, which we were perfectly happy with. The only negative thing about the trip was the toilet in the unit stopped working on our 3rd day there, and it did not get fixed until 4 days later. I notified the property manager several times over that time period but the toilet did not get fixed until I escalated it with VRBO. Once I did that, the toilet was fixed within an hour. The toilet issue seemed to be related to the ongoing maintenance of the building, which had not reached our unit yet(eg replacement of building plumbing drains). The maintenance schedule I saw said the work for our unit would be completed in the Fall of 2022, so hopefully future tenants won't come across the same issue. Other than the toilet issue, it was an enjoyable stay.

Best oceanfront rental EVER!
This was truly one of my favorite rental experiences ever. The condo is an absolute gem. The layout is perfect with a large bedroom, washer / dryer, access to the small gym, pool, fully stocked kitchen, a closet full of beach items, spacious living room and stunning ocean views. It’s worth getting up early in the morning to see the sunrise over the ocean. Gorgeous, clean and swimmable beach. Betty’s communication was great. We appreciated the detailed emails with info on the check-in process, parking and suggestions for nearby restaurants / shopping, etc. I highly recommend this condo and plan to be back!

Fantastic location
The location of this rental is fantastic. We were looking for an area away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. This was the perfect spot. Still close to amenities and services, but without the crowds. The beach was great, with the reef protecting the area from strong currents. The condo had all the things we needed and was very comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful. This was a great place to stay for a small family.

The unit had a great view from the balcony, was spacious and clean. This was our first dealings with a rental unit so we didn't know what to expect. It was fully furnished with a very nice kitchen and plenty of pots, pans, dishes etcetera (but we didn't cook). The owners provided toilet paper and paper towels which we found out later isn't usual. The only drawbacks were that the bed was a bit hard for two old folks and there was no air conditioning. There is a great breeze when you open the front door and the balcony door though. Ceiling fans are in each room and there are really nice fans in the bedroom and bathroom. A small washer and dryer are included in the unit -- I would suggest closing the door to the laundry when washing and drying. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

It was all about the location. This property is (50 feet from the beach). We swam with the turtles and enjoyed dining on the lanai. While being on Oahu for one week we only put 360 miles on our rental car so all activities and shopping are close by yet this condo was very quiet and slow paced. Great find!

Great location near the beach!
We loved watching the sunrise and sea turtles from our lanai every morning! Elizabeth gave great detailed information and communicated quickly. The lacy ion is great however the condo is in need of an update. The bedroom pocket door doesn’t open easily and the mattresses were very worn. It’s not luxury but still a nice place to stay. Also a side note...There is construction outside the building but both elevators were working by the time we left and they started work after quiet hours.
