'The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags.'

'So happy we found this place, it was perfect. We are a family of 6, youngest being 19. The living space was huge with plenty of seating for us all. Bonus having the TV for the evening. 'We had a great holiday. We stay for 4 nights ( 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 6)). The lodge is very cosy and it is very spacious. My son was very happy watching the ducks swimming in the pond. Children watched rabbits running around outside the lodge. Our grandparents flew over from Lithuania and they were left awestruck. Highly recommended Many Thanks😊'

'The location is excellent, close to the city center. The parking opportunities are limited, fortunately unloading and loading is possible in the street of the location. The apartment is well equipped and sizable. However, the windows pf apartment 3 are facing an inner court with a venting system of a restaurant. It produces strong kitchen smells during most of the day. It should be discussed with the owner how to reduce the smells (with scrubs, perhaps).'

'Didn't actually manage to stay here and had to book alternative accommodation at short notice. Despite checking in online earlier that morning and advising of expected arrival time, I didn't receive the code for the lock box and all attempts at contacting the host failed, no response to phone calls or text messages, in fact the host declined my calls on numerous occasions.
