'What drew my husband and I to this resort was that the cottage/suite was located on the Muskegon river. What wonderful view from inside the cottage! There was a very nice patio and an area with a firepit. The nicely decorated cottage was very clean with a spacious, well stocked kitchen. We had one day out of our three day vacation in which the weather wasn't favorable, but there is a supply of games and plenty to watch on TV. 'Very nice, very clean. Within walking distance of restaurants and shops. If you or anyone in your party cannot handle a long flight of stairs you should seek other lodging. Bring a bike. Mears Beach and the general area is beautiful. If you rent a golf cart, you will not be able to drive it into Mears State Park without a MI license plate and a park pass. Overall, Pentwater is a great family oriented town that we hope to revisit and stay at the same VRBO.'
