Nice pool and seaview
I love their swimming pool and that they have entrance to the beach. The rooms are a little bit small and old, the service of the restaurant is terrible. We complained by the reception, but they only said, sorry for that. So they need to improve their service skills!

De kamer was smerig, toen kregen we een andere kamer die even eens smerig was, na dat er drie uur gepoetst was konden we dan eindelijk de kamer betrekken. Het personeel is corrupt een potje thee kost 150 rupie, maar ze probeerde wel eerst250 en later nog eens 300 te innen. Wat ze natuurlijk van mij niet kregen en ik een bon verlangde en kijk toen was het toch weer 150 Het weekend werd je dan van het het strand verdreven daar kwam dan een groep uit Colombo die voorrang had dus als hotelgast kon je alleen maar vertrekken door de harde muziek die je tot op straat nog hoorde. Er wordt hier niet naar het wel bevinden van de gast gekeken, zonder alleen naar hun eigen kassa. Je hebt hier ook geen leuke winkeltjes het hotel ligt aan een heel drukke straat waar het wandelen onmogelijk is en levens gevaarlijk. Ik ben al heel veel gereisd in mijn leven maar dit land zou ik niet aan bevelen het loopt met Europa minstens 50 jaar terug, een en al armoe.

Uitermate slechte wifi, alleen bij zwembad onvoorstelbaar in 2014. Goed ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel. Ligbeddem extreem hard, niet prettig... Prachtig uitzicht op het water!

I call this side the city view side of the hotel the forgotton section of the hotel. Prior to this I was in the ocean view room, for 10 days, all connected to the hotel with easy access to any part of the hotel.And I paid less for the room with breakfast included.For the city view rooms I paid more and extra for breakfast. To get to the main building I had to come out of the side of the hotel and walk pass the little shop and enter through the reception anytime of day or night. I also felt that the rooms on this side of the hotel were given less attention. I had to inquire about the cleaning people that were very visible on the other side and did not see on this side. On request my room was cleaned and with a call to the house keeping the beverage supplies were brought to the room. Given the choice I will not stay in Citrus if I had to settle for the city view rooms. All the staff were very friendly and caring.

Just basic, bare bones accommodation. One of the members of our group said it was more like a lodge than a hotel. There were rust spots around the room and fixtures, even in the kettle. The room was clean but the quality of everything belongs in a much cheaper property. the mattresses, sheets, bathrooms, shower, were all below average. The AC didn't work properly. All round, quite a disappointment. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful, esp at reception, but that wasn't true of the staff in the restaurant and elsewhere. We even got charged for something we hadn't ordered!

スタッフは非常にフレンドリーで、また親切に対応して頂けて非常に良かったです。 また、Hotelの到着が10:30ぐらいだったのですが、無料でearly checkinをして頂き、部屋に入れた為、初日から十分に楽しめました。 部屋はそこまで広くはないですが、清潔です。 私の部屋は２つ問題点がありました。 １つはシャワーの水圧は問題ないのですが、温度が安定しませんでした。 冷たくなったり、熱くなったりと変化し、冷たい〜適温のタイミングにうまくシャワーを浴びる事が必要でした。 もう一つは、部屋の位置的に２階だった為、プールの目の前の部屋で、プールサイドを歩いている人たちの目線とと部屋の窓の高さが一緒で、カーテンを少しでも空けていると、プールサイドを歩いている人達と目が合い、気まずかったです。(カーテンは一時も開けられませんでした。その為、3階以上の部屋が理想です。) 私たちは食事無しプランにしていましたが、レストランは一つしかなく、朝食、昼食、夕食ともBuffeになっていた為、食事付きにした場合は、3食とも唯一のレストランでBuffeになっていたかもしれません。 ただ、近隣のレストランの多くは、土地柄、アルコールの提供ができない為、お酒を飲みながら食事したかった私たちは、結局、こちらのレストランで毎回食べていました。(注文はBuffeではなく、アラカルトで注文もできました) Hotelの立地的地には、目の前にスーパーもあり、海沿いの通りを歩けば、お店が立ち並んでいる為、非常に便利で楽しかったです。

Отель расположен на берегу океана. Мы жили на 4м этаже. Вид из окна и с балкона замечательный. При этом входная дверь выходит прямо на дорогу. Шум от дороги сильный даже ночью. В номере есть минибар, кондиционер, телевизор, шкаф, сейф, чайник с принадлежностями для чая и кофе. При этом все очень неудобно. Телевизор очень низко над полкой для чемоданов. Когда открываешь чемодан, рискуешь уронить со стены телевизор. Есть кресла с журнальным столиком, но столик в 2 раза ниже кресел. Чтобы помыть руки, необходимо зайти в ванную комнату и закрыть дверь, т. к. дверь загораживает раковину. Из туалетных принадлежностей только шампунь, мыло и шапочки для душа, туалетная бумага. Вай фай в номере работал нормально. У нас был полупансион. Питание приемлемое, но в эконом варианте. Купаться возле отеля нельзя, надо пройти по берегу или дорогой до Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon. В целом отель приемлемый, но цена сильно завышена. Мы брали номер по скидке. Если позволяют средства лучше взять Hikka Tranz или другой на берегу, либо найти более дешевый вариант через дорогу.

空港の、迎えを依頼するも応答がなく、来てるのか来てないのか、わからないまま買 空港到着。結局来てなくて、その場でタクシー交渉して行きました。 施設は一階施設でしたが常時セキュリティが配置されていたので盗難などへの注意は幾分緩和された印象。 設備は普通。高級ホテルというほどでもないかと。 サービス面では、早朝出発のために朝食を取れないので、朝出発前にテイクアウト用に用意してほしい旨リクエストし、了解されたのに当日になると今日は朝食がないことになっているとフロントスタッフが応え、結局出されないまま。その後もその件については何もなかったかのように… それから、エクスペディア予約者向けのディスカウントサービスについてもスタッフの認識がなく、メール提示した上でサービスの提供受けるも正規料金を請求されます。

Номера большие , но очень шумные ( берите беруши ) так как окна выходят на океан , а двери прямо на проезжую часть. Напротив отеля единственный супер маркет в городе, удобно. Отель нормальный , брали питание все включено . Не пожалели. Выбор хороший . Лежаков всегда хватало. В отеле очень любят чаевые, прям очень. В целом все неплохо . Рекомендую не больше недели.

Tråkigt hotell med nonchalant personal
Tråkigt rum, trångt och litet. Vid ankomst hade vi inte fått några hand-handdukar utan endast 2 duschanddukar. Dag 2 fick vi endast 1 duschhandduk och inga hand-handdukar. Vi bodde i ett dubbelrum.. när vi sa till kom de upp med 4 st små handdukar men fortfarande ingen duschhandduk. Tyvärr var även personalen i receptionen inte alls service-minded utan snarare väldigt nonchalanta. Däremot var läget väldigt bra och närområdet var mysigt.

The only good thing about this place was the beach and the location. If I would have known that the quality of the building and the room was that bad I would spend another $100+ just to get a clean renovated or new room. This was a guest house quality -. Will not recommend unless your budget is max $60 per night.

They offered a two single beds adjoining instead of a one double bed for a me and husband. It was so hard to sleep..And room is too small and bathroom is not clean enough.

Galle Cricket stay.
Over for the England cricket and it is just coming into season. Lively hotel when the Barmy Army were here and a lot quieter afterwards. It's a good hotel right on the beach and by the main road. Super swimming pool. Buffet breakfast is fine. We had a 6th floor room with a.great view of the Ocean. If you're travelling ton Hikkaduwa it's worth considering. John, Coventry, Barmy Army.

Check in experience was fantastic. Hotel is right on the beach. Turn left for some nice restaurants and surfing sea. We had a room at the back of the hotel facing road but the rooms with a sea view look good.

Good location for a relaxing stay
After having done a lot of travelling we just wanted a few days of relaxation. The hotel fulfilled our brief reasonably well. It has a good pool, and on one side of the hotel is the beach and on the other the main road of the town. Traffic can be [only a little bit] noisy and you may get woken early by the horn of the local train. This did not spoil our stay - but get a room that overlooks the pool and beach.The town is bustling, and there are a few restaurants for you to try, but we ate in the hotel; the breakfasts and dinners were good and lunch was available too. What made it a good experience for us, apart from just doing nothing, was the staff. They were extremely helpful to us, especially when we had a transport problem, and they were happy in their jobs. All were ready with a smile, and to have a laugh and a joke. The hotel fabric was in dire need of refurbishment. It looks 'tired', but our bedroom was very clean and comfortable.

Adequate accommodations for a week
Very friendly and polite staff. Staff training needs some input, although the staff was always polite and tried to help. Bar staff were particularly slow. Electrics need upgrading in rooms for charging up gadgets New mini fridges too.. Activities on site need clearer notifications. We had immediate action from staff when they knew we were not happy with our room and appreciated a room with a better view.. I will recommend it with reservations.

Nice place at nice location
Nice hotel at nice location. Staff is pleasant and willing to help. I rated staff with 3* because I have booked room with sea view and they reserved 2 rooms in basement without any view from room. After our guide complaint and ask for new rooms they changed rooms to 2nd floor on our 2nd night onwards. Overall nice experience.

schön gelegenes Hotel, toller Komfort für Sri Lank
Ich bereits Sri Lanka und speziell Hikkaduwa seit 30 Jahren - ich wollte einmal weg von einem Guesthouse in ein schönes neues Hotel. Dies habe ich im Citrus gefunden. Alles wirklich toll - Zimmer, Betten, Aussicht, Service, Food. Negativ empfinde ich den Lärm - es ist extrem laut nachts und tags. Oropax ein muss!! Sonst, excellent!

Nettes Hotel mit Schwächen
Erst hatten wir einen Superior Room im alten Hoteltrakt. Das Zimmer und die Terrasse waren schön, aber sehr abgewohnt und dunkel. Es war auch relativ leise. Nach einem Wassereinbruch, waren wir in der besten Kategorie, im neuen Trakt. Die Zimmer waren hell, schön und sie wurde auch gut gereinigt. Leider war es hier durch die Hauptstraße vor dem Haus recht laut. Der Pool war gepflegt, aber die Liegen und die Handtücher ziemlich verbraucht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig .Das Abendessen war auch nicht schlecht, aber für Sri Lanka zu teuer.
