'We had a great time here! The few negatives: the bed was really hard (but it was nice to have a king size bed), the room was cooled by an old school ac unit, which was loud, and kicked on and off, and the room was very dated and not very sound proof. I heard the birds early in the morning, very clearly. HOWEVER, I know they're slowly renovating the rooms so I'm giving allowance for that. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. 'can't say I loved the place. It's in need of some upgrades . The cottage was cheap and we needed a getaway. You get a little less than what you pay for. We stayed in one of the cottages up front. The London flat room. The room is drafty with gaps in the doorway. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The shower is tiny and you can't adjust the head so short people like myself just get blasted in the face the whole time. The mini fridge froze everything we put in there.
